Even stock, they were quite capable enough to run that needle most (if not all) of the way around to the end of the speedo. I had mine topped in 4th at 150 with the windows down in no time at all. With the setup I'm putting together, I'm sure I could probably run 5th out too.

7M - so 6000 rpm redline and 3.91 gears out back (originally a 1990 GE, but I put in a pre 89 LSD and a higher compression GTE and R154. Also it has 215/50 R17s on it (nearly the exact same circumference as 225/50 R16s) so the Rev limiter in 5th is 161. That is.. if the gear ratio calculator is correct. So far, it has been.

Installed my LIPP Traction arms & Swap bar link kit front & rear

Finished sub frame swap

Built some -8 fuel lines, short line is for rail to -8 union and long line is -8 union to fuel filter -8.. next on the list is -8 from pump to filter and i'll be done with that

Replaced my heater hose to stop my water leak, now my MK3 boosts like it used to and doesn't have any leaks. It feels good to drive her like this again.

Well tonight I got a speeding ticket for going 77mph in a 60mph on i45. Now for those who do not live in Houston, nobody goes 60, not even 75 on i45 everyone goes 80+ especially at this hour. At least the cop said he loved the car and wanted one when they first came out.

lol at first I thought he pulled me over to check out the car since he told me he liked it but the ticket threw me off lol. Maybe he gave me a ticket because he was jealous of how much I got the car for in such great condition.

Over the past couple weeks tore out the r154, tore it apart, and started on a full rebuild with marlin crawler goodies.
My parts just came in yesterday, so I haven't gotten around to installing anything besides the input shaft bearing. I don't have a press at home, so I have to take it to work or school.

Here you can barley see why my transmission failed. 1st gear thrust washer -_-

Gassed her and washed her, took some cool pics of her, then did some errands like register the bronco, ship off the launch control for tests and eye appointment. My clutch is GONE!!! ordering disk, PP and light weight flywheel with in the next couple days

I FINALLY cleaned the inside recently, and then went grocery shopping with it today. Made a rough cost sheet for my 1jz swap too. If anyone would like to see it I can email it to them.
