Well I would be posting a picture of the manifold I just bought, but UPS seems to have delivered it somewhere other than my house. I have a couple guesses as to where, going to be talking to some neighbors in a few. Still... rather frustrating.

Installed a new metal wastegate gasket, and hopefully fixed a small, slow coolant leak at where the heater core hose meets at the back of the block. Oh and shined up the engine a little.

Realized that your local Caterpillar dealer is a good source of turbo gaskets, clamps, etc... although I think there might be a bit of fishing for part numbers involved. :p

Also, the manifold was at a neighbor's house...

Went hunting for shop and found one that did it for $85 bucks, the place looked good so I figured they would do good work, I had to help them open the hood because of my blown hood struts lol. I plan on installing the new hood struts tomorrow and thermostat housing.

i want one but too pricey for me :(
They definitely arent cheap. Just means the build will take longer. I jumped at the chance for this one. Much of my purchases lately have been completely based on the timing: such as IJ.'s AccuSump I bought and the S2000 drivetrain for my daily. If I were to get a stupid deal on a turbo, I might even jump on that, even though it's not in the near future plans.

By the way ^ LOVE the black sawblades! Normally shiny/chrome/silver lug nuts arent visually appealing, but I think on black wheels it looks great.
