Put all the little things on the engine and mounted up the turbo. Going in the car tomorrow, hopefully i will have a chance to turn the key and see what happens.

There was a thread in Other Cars a while back (sometime last year?) that had a pretty good batch of suggestions from the wise ones on how to store an engine.

Checked timing and a couple other things to try and locate the knock on my brand new engine but no luck. so motor comes back out next week.
