The oil pump bearings are scheduled to be delivered Tuesday. That is all the shop needs to put the block together.

We're waiting on driftomtion to deliver my oil pump and a 2mm headgasket.

It is the upgraded oil pump that Driftmotion sales. I don't know the numbers on it.

We are using the Garrett T04E.

George, I don't know that I have any thingamagiggies, but I do have a ARP stud kit.........................;)

We have the oil pump bearings and Im dropping the head off this morning. Now maybe he'll get to work on this thing and we can have two running supras at our house in about a month. (crosses fingers)

The machine shop was closed today. I don't know why, but he was. Hopefully he'll be open tomorrow.

Which gasket did you end up going with? Also, don't forget about the rivet that may be in the way of the mating surface.

It's a HKS 2mm. Stupid question I'm sure, but what do you do about the rivet?

Like Cry said, yes you remove it if it's in the way of the mating surface. It might not be but double check to be sure. Then ARP studs and 100 TQ on the wrench. (that's what mine is torqued down to)

Any real reason why you went with 100 ft/lbs over 80 that's recomended by ARP? Have to do with the amount of boost your running?
