Thanks for clearing it up, but I still am seeing fail. Good to see the OP is making the right choice.

cinciguy89turbo;1376749 said:Out of cash...for the moment:evil2: its making me crazy. Thought this would be a 1 or 2 day job. Its been a week. Miss my baby. Also getting new timing belt, plugs and wire while I'm at it. Sorta spent all my money on that. Looking at another 600-800 I guess for headgasket, ARP studs and having a valve job/head check? Not excited.

Ray came over this afternoon around one, and started working. We intentionally dropped the valve at 2:00. At 3:06 we had the valve back in its place. Now that we figured out the best way to go at it, I'm confident this could be done in 15 minutes flat. Stay tuned for pics and a DIY thread!
cinciguy89turbo;1376777 said:Cool! Way to go guys!:icon_bigg Come do mine! I'm afraid I've bent a valve or something though lol Which I'm assuming would cause even more problems!
lewis15498;1376781 said:I remember you said you cranked it over, you almost definitely bent a valve or worse, so the head has to come off now. but if this happens again we will make a diy writeup so you know how. if your ever in that situation again, put a ratchet on the main pully bolt and turn the engine manually very slowly, so you dont damage anything.
cinciguy89turbo;1376792 said:I didn't crank it it put a ratchet on the main pully like u said and honestly I can't remember how much pressure I put on it when I turned it. :nono:
