Fronts only

Keep us updated on this? If you can get them done for a better price or faster, there's no sense in me doing the work again.

This is true. Dose any one have The deffent sizes for the rings?

^^Ya know, I didn't see the detail about the rings and was wondering if we could get them, like I did for my aftermarket wheels (any tire shop, Ebay, etc)? Are they that much different and have to be made of metal? I am asking if it's not necessary and duplicating efforts or taking more time/$$ for the sets to be made?

Honestly since nobody can agree on what size they need to be I was just going to pick up a set of 350Z track rotors and measure for myself then send the specs to the machinist. That way I know they'll be correct.

You've got the right idea, but for something like brakes, I want it to be PERFECT, and yes, in this case having them made of metal is a requirement

Im waiting to get hte quote back from the laser.

Let me know ASAP. If it turns out to be expensive or looks like there's going to be a long waiting period, I'll get in touch with my guy and get the ball rolling. Remember to give us a realistic price that we might actually be able to get a full conversion set for including brackets and spacers that reflects a mark up for your time and effort of course. I'm curious, though, so feel free to PM me with the price that you can get them made for so I can do a good comparison.

actually there is only one rotor that fits over our hubs(oem wise) and that is the 350z track rotor that will clear the abs ring. The other rotor that you can use is the mk4 rotor but you need to machine the hub and that can get costly.

Yeah, I'm only talking about the dimensions of the centering rings. Nobody seems to be able to make up their mind on what size the rings need to be to properly center the 350Z rotor on our hubs, so I was just going to measure for myself.

Are you still willing to let me borrow your setup so that I can mock it up and produce the brackets and rings? If wesbeech's plan doesn't pan out, I'm going to get very serious about reproducing these kits.

Let me know the sizes of the rings and ill write a program and punch them out in my cnc lathe.

Download the PDF it will have the centre bore size of the 350z track and the mk3 supra disc. BUT as I said earlier it would be wise to have the lip machined in as per my pics which will lock the spacer in so you wont lose it while changing a wheel etc. The only way to measure that up is to measure a MK3 hub and an actual disc. I MAY still have my spare hub in the shed kicking around. i could possibly get a measurement for you but I'm not 100% that it will be the same as a USDM hub.

Alright, I'll PM wesbeech, and I'll give my machinist a call tomorrow and make sure everything is in line. I just want to make sure that I'm not duplicating efforts here since wesbeech claims to already have a usable blueprint. I'll have to wait for the parts to get to me, set them up and make a few measurements for the rings and such and then get them to the machine shop to be duplicated.

I machined my rings undersize on the bores then pressed them onto the hubs with 262 loctite and finish machined the OD's to be concentric with the axles.

you over engineer everything on your car,we can't keep up with you.i'd like to get a set of ring's that would make my rotor's and my rim's hub centric:)

Can I please get the dimensions of your rings? :) I'm assuming this means that the rings are now pressed on to the front hubs so that aftermarket rotors fit like they were stock?
