This is why, these oem parts can be gound for the nearly same price as the stock replacement parts, just add a coupple hundred for the brackets. Some guys have some 300zx calipers sitting around, or rotors from a buddy or what ever. I found my full kit for like $600 shipped, cant beat that!!

I know it isnt the "best" bbk, out there and the contact patch on the rotor isntideal, but it is a HUGE improvment over stock, and the stock brakes just suck, and best of all you can pick up replacement pads or rotors at any parts store, most people dont have a Willwood dealer near by. They probably wont be to good for full blown track cars, but for 95% of mk3 owners for spirited street driving that may do some auto crossing or track days they are fine. You will not be able to make these fade on the street, I have tried. If you can find deals on the parts and dont mind a little searching around to piece it togeather it is a great deal. If you have all the cash up front, and dont want to mess around, get the ARZ or similar.

That's the category I fall into.

A little Info:

Am just about wrapping up my brake conversion and pretty much got all the parts collected. During the progress, am also taking out my abs system and switching over to Na brake lines and etc.

The only thing i need is somebody willing to make a shim that allows the 350z rotor to fit perfectly. The custom fabrication guy around here is a duchebag and id rather take my business elsewhere. So if anybody is willing to make some shims or get them made that be sweet and wrap up this whole ordeal of the 300zx brake upgrade.

what i got:
an extra hub/rotor assembly from salvage yard
silverlineracing adapter
350z rotor( Napa Part #880250)
300zx 30mm calipers
all i need is a shim.

An idea of what it looks like without shim:

if anybody is willing to make me some shims, i'll be gladly to send over my things and that others can benefit from this swap as well.

obviously that person would have to be a trusted person but gladly will help my fellow members

PS. if anybody can obtain a Supra Vin without ABS that would be Sweet, save me some time in tracking one down.

I can produce these too if I can get my hands on a set of brackets or a CAD file. I'm willing to buy a set of brackets off somebody. Who's got them? Can anybody give me the dimensions of the rings? I can get these made too.

ill help with the shipping cost if got boosted is serious about making them

I'm very serious. I should be able to produce them for a decently affordable price, too, so the savings will be passed on.

The turnaround may be a couple of weeks, and I won't be able to give an exact price until I get the brackets to the machinist, but the work is excellent and the price is right. I will plan on producing the brackets and centering rings and selling them as a kit. I'd buy them from Silverline to get a set to start with, but the price is a little high... Again, brackets or a CAD file will work.

Got boosted, i got silverline brackets infact i got everything besides the centering rings. I even went thru the trouble to go a local salvage yard and pay for a complete hub/knuckle assembly. If you wanna take up the task, i'll ship it all to you and just hope i get everything back.. .lol jp but i'd be willing to take the risk to get these made and therefore it could benefit other members as well.

I do feel a little bad however that we coping of silverline's brackets( eventho i know he copied em of the original night pager kit) I hope he dont mind.

Let me get in contact with my CNC dude, and I'll let you know. I'll help you with shipping. You have calipers, brackets, and rotors?

Any new status on the brackets/hardware to get these on my MKIII... I'd be willing to get a few sets, if it helps offset the cost for others...
