Got the Aeromotive FPR on. Only after connecting it and having the car idle for a minute or two I noticed that the Oil Filter Housing and possibly the braided high pressure turbo oil feed line seem to be leaking pretty bad. Im hoping that I just left em loose and need to tighten em as opposed to there being something messed up. More Pics and Info as i get em....

I had an issue w/ one of the steel braided oil lines for the CT26. The High Pressure line to be more exact. The line itself was leaking from where the steel braided portion got crimped onto the brass fitting that screwed in @ the block. I got in contact w/ Rabid Chimp and the guy sent me another replacement line free of charge. Got it in yesterday so imma try to put it on this afternoon and see if i can't actually have the 7M finish filling up w/ coolant.

got the braided line changed. had to take off the oil filter housing to do it. Now heres the problem. As i was putting the Oil filter housing back on and tightening it up, I hadn't noticed that the O-Ring decided to slide down and out of the groove that it sits in. :madfawk: I tightened the housing, ignorant to fact that I had pinched the O-Ring, and started the car. Then noticed that my leak was worse than befor... turned the car off and discovered my new problem.

I ran off to Discount Auto thats near my job and they didn't have it. I decided to run to HeadQuarter Toyota and order the O-Ring wich should arrive tuesday.

Ok, Intercooler piping is done. The spark plugs need to be cleaned a bit. The motor has an intermittent idle. At times it idles fine, and at other times it seems to miss a bit. Pulled out the spark plug in cylinder 1 and its a black altho it seems the tip is starting to clean itself. Going to wait to have the car drivable to see if the idle improves. I also have a Code 51. Got to hunt down and see whats the cause. Im leaning towards A/C but haven't done any tests to verify this yet. I'll keep you guys posted.

Ok, I was wrong. It wasn't just a Code 51. A code 51 shouldn't throw the light on... Atleast not because of the A/C system... Maybe the Throttle Possition Snsor but it would be accompanied by a Code 41 so I decided to Re-Check my codes and noticed I not only had a 51 but a 52 also. The knock sensor on the front side of the motor was broken so I replaced it and the CEL went away. Used one of the Combustion Chamber cleaners from Wynns to see If I couldn't clean up the spark plugs a bit. Seems to have improved the idle some. Spark plug #1 is looking cleaner (still haven't checked the rest).

Also took time to adjust the temperature at wich the electric fans turn on. I got my multimeter and plugged in a thermistor and shoved the thermistor through the radiator by the temperature probe. Turns out the fans were turning on at 120*. Turned off the fans and waited till my multimeter read 180 then backed down the control nob till the fans turned on. The fans turn on at 195* and turns off at 160*. Im taking my digital Timing Light to work tommorrow to verify timing. That and I placed the order for my one peice braided clutch line...

Timing is at 15* btdc. Might back it off to 12* monday. I changed out all 6 fouled up Denso PQ20R-P8's that I got the motor with and replaced them with 6 new NGK BCPR6EIX Iridium Plugs that I gapped to 0.8mm. Noticed a fuel leak comming from around the rail. Looks like its comming from Cylinder 2's Fuel Injector. Going to try to address that next week.

well i've tried messing with the injectors like 3 or 4 times... tried using some O Rings from some used injectors to fix the leak but no go. First injector 2, then 4, then 5 twice.... so I got upset and called Toyota and stopped being cheap and ordered 6 Injector O Rings, the two crush washers for the Cold Start Injector and the one for the Pulse Damper and the one for the Rail as well. Should be getting that tommorrow and hopefuly shouldn't have a fuel leak anymore. Also waiting on the set of adjustable endlinks and weld on rear reinforcement tabs for the rear sway bars to get in from SupraSport.com.

7 being a colder plug? I guided myself by the part numbers at Pep Boys when i was working there. I tried to get a colder plug than what they recommended... Go figure when i check the TSRM to check the gap it told me that what i had was the right plug. Pep Boys was gonna have me run a hotter plug in the 7M!

damn, reading all 10 pages makes me want to go rip my motor out and rebuild, im in need of one :|

10 pages? I got only 2... But thats my page setup. I got tired of all the little problems. Its either you rebuild the car and make it what it used to be (or a little more like me :bigthumb:) or you leave the car running like crap and curse the day you bought the Supra. I'd wrather have mine running perfect and rape new cars w/ my beat up old Supra. :evil2:

So get a dd then rebuild

I take it you were reffering to Cycoclown... Yeah, a daily is great. I've been stuck for almost a year without one. The sacrifices we make in the search for Boost.
