had an irradic idle as of yesterday. It appears the adjusting screw for the dashpot was too low and keeping the idle at 1200 wich would cause the ECU to hunt for the appropriate RPM to keep the car at. Realized what the problem was and adjusted the screw on the throttle body for the dashpot. Might have it set too low tho. Still waiting to get seats to really take the car on a test drive.

didn't have enough money on this paycheck to order the seats... so I ordered the driver side seat bracket (now i have both). Adjusted the idle a tad bit. I can rev up the motor now w/o it trying to stall when the rpm's settle. No hunting, no stalling, perfect idle but it seems theres a bit of smoking when It revs. It smokes then goes away. I'll check later but I suspect a head rebuild in this 7M's future.

the motor runs perfect... did a decent 1st gear pull the other day in the back lot at work and it broke the back tires look at like 4k to like 5 then i got off the gas. im trying to get seats so i can safely take it on the streets. Atleast a drivers seat anyways. I have the 4 pt harness so atleast that part is good, but I still need to get insurance, tag, and registration. Also have a custom plate planned. Wont spoil that till I have it tho.
EDIT: Yeah, I dont doubt the peoples frown on the 7M. I've talked to a few other supra owners, most w/ 1J's. Some have had the nerve to wish me luck w/ my 7M.

I want NRG Integra Type R Replica's. I love the slots for the harness on those seats. Just gotta get them to work w/ the sparco base. I dont wanna take the car out of the dealership until its ready to be dailied. I dont want to leave the car there when im not around.
just about... That and i have some electrical issues to work out till the car is perfect. But that doesnt stop it from being drivable. Then again the front windsheild leaks so i have to fix that so i dont ruin the gauges on my a pillar. I also have a few leaks to take care of but Im dieing to get the car out on the streets.
i've gone to the gas station and mc donalds riding on a brick and using shop rags as my seat cover

really now? where? and when? The car has been sitting for 3 years. Befor that the car looked like crap. Doesn't look like it does now. And for the past maybe 5 months the car has been sitting at my dealership also off the streets. Im not saying you haven't, just curiouse.
