Just got my 4point Cam Lock Harness yesterday. Trying to work out something w/ horsepower freaks regarding lipp's piping kit. It doesn't bolt up to the 87-88 intercooler so its either i try to send it back for a replacement or just modify this fender pipe and get it to work. Replaced the Damaged A/C lines that were in the car befor. Still waiting on the Samco Engine Hoses from GroupASupra so i can drop the motor back in and hopefuly start the motor and compression test across all cylinders. Plan on flushing the motor and transmission once everything is in the car and bolted together and refilling w/ fresh fluids (obviously).

Have to modify the IC Pipe from Lipp. Received my Rack & Pinion Spacers already. Also got a new reciver drier. Had a short portion of high pressure a/c line that bolts to the drier that was stripped but i managed to get that fixed and also converted the lines over to R134A. Almost have everything done and ready to go... Almost there....

where did you get the aircon R134A Lines from? :)

they are my factory lines. My high pressure line had to be modified because i was missing a piece that toyota has discontinued. I found that peice but mine was damaged so they made my pressure line a 1 peice. As far as the R134A those are just fittings that you can put over your existing R12 fittings. You remove the valve core on the existing fittings then screw the new ones where the existing high and low pressure ports are. The high pressure port is by the intercooler by the drier, and the low pressure port is on the A/C compressor. Almost forgot to mention that if you'r going to be swapping from R12 to R134A you'll be needing a new Drier for the car as the old one will still contain R12 and have to be replaced.

Finally got my Samco Auxillary Engine hoses in. Going to see If i can't manage to get them installed on my 7M tommorrow (or by saturday) and also put all the Hose Techniques SVH's on the motor then start trying to get the motor back in the car. Expect crummy quality cellphone pics when done (hopefuly they wont be that crummy)

Almost got locked in at work today. Got so caught up in installing the vacuum lines (after finishing the water hoses) that I didn't notice it was almost time to go (15 minutes befor 7pm) Have to cut off the tie straps on the vacuum lines, and take pictures. Then Id like to make sure that the oil pump is shimmed (since the block feed line has been upgraded) and get the motor off the stand to swap rear main seals. If I have the time, I should be dropping the motor back into the car tommorrow. Pictures soon to come!

::w00t:: I FINALLY got to drop my 7M back into my Supra. Sadly this was around 6:30pm. Since i work at a Ford dealership they dont want me messing with my Toyota till late in the afternoon when things slow down and light is becomming scarce. Anywho, I snipped off the ends of the tite wraps on the vacuum lines this morning. Around lunch time I dropped the oil pan and verified that the Oil Pump was shimmed. And around 5pm between fussing with free work for my dispatcher :icon_mad: and getting the 7M off the engine stand using a chain and the arms of my lift, I pulled the rear main seal and swapped it with a new one.

Once that was done (at around 6:05pm) It was bother another co-worker (a service writer actually) to get the car pusher and push my car from the back lot to my stall while i sat down inside the car ontop of the R154 sitting where the driver seat should be to steer. Took the hood struts off, carefuly leaned the hood against the wiper blade/windsheild, pulled off the front strut bar, got the engine hoist and got the motor into the car with the help of a pair of heavy line techs that were still around. Didnt have enough light to take pictures but befor pushing the car out of my bay tommorrow morning, im opening the hood and snapping away as many pictures as i can manage to take.

The exhaust side of the motor came out a bit blurry but the other three didn't come out so bad. Currently on the task of bolting up the R154 to the motor. Took about 45 minutes to realize that it wouldn't work with the clutch/pressure plate bolted to the motor so I took that off from there and put it on the transmission and it seems to be working better. Had to leave it presented but not actually in place because it got late. Will continue the work tommorrow.

no fat chicks car too low will scrape?

this car is equipped with a turbocharger, all female passengers are required to remove all tight-fitting garments?

:D I want one of the second sticker to go under the passenger sun shade.

nope, just a warning label stating that all passengers must ride naked. :biglaugh: got stickers like the second one (not exactly that one) on the sun visors on the flaps covering the mirrors.

Back to the build.... I managed to get the R154 Bolted up. NOTE to anyone doing this for the first time. Sand the tip of the output shaft that goes into the pilot bearing and apply grease to the tip and the pilot bearing. Took me a good while of wondering why the hell it wouldn't go in till a co-worker noticed.
