On a different note, I got my 1 Piece Braided Clutch Line today. Hopefuly tommorrow everything goes smoothly, I fix the fuel leak, I bleed the clutch line, flush out the R154 and get everything running right.

Hey, did those pics help out with the harness bar? I didn't hear anything more on that.

If you did get it mounted up, you didn't post pics. Shame, shame... ;)

No sir. Haven't taken care of that yet. Lemme jump back to that thread... I don't exactly remember what was up. Think I had a problem w/ the pictures.... No, nvm, they worked fine. As I had posted to OneJArpus, I had put the dynamat on before getting the harness bar so I'm at a loss as to where to bolt it to. Might just wait to get my racing seats to try to guess-timate where the hole might be and start the dynamat excavation in search for my illusive hole.

Yeah, mine came with the car so I didn't have to install it...

Got your eye on any seats in particular? I can only speak for my Sparco's. They're comfy even on long trips. My only beef with them is that they are a little tall. Mine are not mounted on the slide rails because the previous owner was like 6'2" and was hitting his head a lot. I'm 6' so it's a little better for me. Fortunately, he mounted them exactly where I'd have the seat so it's not a bother that the seat doesn't move. I still wish there was a little more head room though.

Had that problem w/ a previous 240SX I had. I swapped out the seats but they had brackets and not sliders. Im short so I'd practically have to lay down in the seat to be able to drive. Im planning on NRG Integra Type R style (Black w/ Red Stitching) that come w/ sliders and a sparco base.

On a different note, I managed to install and bleed the clutch line. Fixed the Fuel leak from the rail altho imma double check it tommorrow. I started messing around w/ the dynamat and i found where the holes were for the vertical stabilizers for the harness bar... thats bolted in already. Even took the liberty of taking a victory lap around the back lot at my dealership sitting on a brick. I had a grin from ear to ear since! :biggrinbo

The brake pedal feels soft so I have to bleed the brakes, maybe the master cylinder. Also going to drain the R154 and flush it since I didn't have a chance today then refill w/ the Redline MT 90 I have. Still need the Steering Damper, Lower Engine Cover, BIC Front Swaybar Links, and Seats (plus Insurance, Tag, and Registration) for it to be drivable.

Oh and Kenny, to answer your question from befor... Im hoping maybe by next month it should be done... Then again thats if I give in and dont wait for the AEM Stand Alone.

Sweet man! I can see you now making laps out back on that brick showing nothing but teeth!!! :D

That's a good feeling!!!

Yeah, now just wait. Later you'll be hearing stories about me installing the BOV, gassing it and me falling off my brick because of all the power! :biglaugh: Hopefuly nothing else happens besides the fall off the brick.

It seems that the fuel lines are siezed in place. I take it one of the previous owners instead of fixing the seized lines and dropping the tank to change the pump cut a hole into the trunk to get easier access. Not my fault.

I also managed to get the car started again today. Disconnected the ECU and connected it back in and it started. Hopefuly i dont have to worry about this later. Also took the liberty to flush and refill the R154.

NP... I accept the good and bad criticism... I know I have things to fix still... but that'll be the next part of the build.

Nothing has really changed visualy... Still waiting to get the Tial Bov welded on the upper IC pipe. I'll post pictures of that but I still have no Seats so the interior is still in pieces. That and im currently trying to fix a few electrical problems im having around the car.

Just a thought about your starting issue...

My 87 wouldn't start after I got it back together after 3+ years of it sitting and it turned out to be flakey CPS wiring.

Plastidipped the hood release latch above the IC in red. Gonna try to get pictures of that and maybe where i mounted the vertical stabilizers for the TMS Harness Bar.

Also going to replace 4 bad tail light bulbs and sand down the contact points for the tail light grounds. 4 of the bulbs can be wiggled in their base and I was having a problem with the tail lights not turning on when the running lights or head lights would be on.

Next thing to diag is going to be why the passenger side head light motor seems to be working opposite of what its supposed to.

Headlights On -> DS Light Goes up and lights up/PS Headlight Stays Down and lights up
Headlights Off -> DS Light Goes Down, Light Off/PS Headlight goes up, Lights off

STAY TUNED FOR MORE: FIX THAT SUPRA!!

Having the flange for my 50mm Tial BOV welded onto the upper IC pipe. Should have pics of that by next week.

Readjusted the electric fans. After checking the TSRM and realizing that the thermostat opens at 190* and not 180* I decided to adjust it to turn on at 200* and turn off at 173*. Also eliminated the Toyota Failure Lamp box and rewired it to get my brake lights working again. Still have more lighting/electrical issues to take care of and noticed a broken brake bleeder screw on the rear driver side caliper that I now have to address.
