I just read through all 8 pages of this thread, and i am impressed with the amount of work u have done and how good it is looking. Great job man!

Still no paint? :(

Right now paint is the last thing I am worried about. Once I get all my mechanical things buttoned up a new paint and interior are on the list. I was thinking of a Lexus pearl white with black and gray interior.

What kind of paint do u use for the interior? Do u do any sanding?

Im using Dupont Vinyl and fabric paint from oreillys. The first piece I did I sanded a little bit but, after I painted it all the scratches showed up. So I have just been cleaning it with prep all and painting it with two coats.

Aisin next to oreilly knock off cylinder.

I got the cylinder in and found that my hard line going to the slave cylinder was leaking bad. I ordered a stainless line from driftmotion, I guess one more week till she is drivable.

Very nice. Having worked with the vinyl/fabric paint now myself I think I can safely say I bet that looks better in person. Nice to also see someone else taking the time to work with some leather. One little tip for ya I thought you might appreciate. In the vinyl section at JoAnn fabrics you can pic up a thin (.25"?) padding that comes on the roll and is meant specifically for upholstery applications. Spray glue that down first to the piece you are covering and your end result will look smoother and also feel better to the touch. If you want a more resiliant layer of padding specialty fabric shops sell neoprene by the yard.

Project looks good, make sure you show us the whole thing when its done.

It does look way better in person. I was amazed at how it looked once everything was back together, looks like a new car! I tried to paint the seatbelt but it didnt come out as good as i wanted it. Did any of the supras come with black seatbelts from the factory?

Got home from work last night and found a jeep cherokee in the front yard! Some drunk kid lost control and slammed into a big oak tree in our front yard. He tried to run but the police caught him down the street.
