Yeah, not too happy with that, but what can you do? Probably going to start getting stuff placed today, making brackets and such. Might try to get the fuel tank dropped as well. 2 months soaking in penetrating lube *should* have made the nuts a little less likely to strip (I would hope).

Looks like you are also running out of engine bay to install "stuff".

Looking good man. BTW If I get some paint mixed up for our color supra's (I believe yours is the same) should I get xtra (like a gallon total) if you want/need some?

NINJA EDIT: ^^^ sounds weird but you get the point, lol.

Rob- sorry I didn't answer that one earlier(like last month, lol) kinda forgot about this thread...

Turbo is being built right now, and I will be picking it up this Tuesday! Probably won't be ready for the coming meet, but it will be soon after! That is all

SS building your turbo? Im thinking about selling mine now. Just because Im going to switch the route. Going lex, injectors, and a piggy back just to get this fuckin car done. If anything I will try with this turbo but it will be WAY over kill with that setup.

Well I got my order from SupraSport today and this is a very impressive turbo! (It's the same as Rob's [92NSX] only a non-polished housing)
61mm, GTS housing, P-trim exhaust, .83 LIPP exhaust housing, Triple ball bearing, water cooled, this is a turbo to behold. It even spins with a breath of air from me!
Also got an Alternator bracket, a fuel line, and an intake tube for the turbo. Just waiting for the manifold heat shields and I need to get up to St. Cloud to get the spacer/studs from Rob and it will be on! Sean had the intake manifold almost done, and then I can mock up the intercooler piping and get them welded! After all of that, I can finally get the car tuned and drive it!

But enough typing- pictures are much better...

Steve, It all looks good. I bet you are as anxious as I am to get her on the street. The guys from comp confirmed today that mine will be here perhaps as early as tomorrow. Going to be a fun summer!

dan, steve, and rob you guys are making it real hard to stay focused on my datsun build. the supra is supposed to be the sensible daily, not the monster hp car.

Tired after work, but got stuff done on my car! Intake got done just as I got there, flange looks rear purdy. FLattened up the TB flange myself and painted it to match the lower runner. Bolted the TB adapter up and put the stock TB on for test fitment- I think it looks great!
Also got the exhaust manifold heatshields today so I dusted them off and bolted them up. Turbo is now 98% installed, I just need to get the oil feed sorted and assembled.

Last couple things to do are IC piping, fuel pump supply circuit, AFPR install, hang the tank, fluids, and tune! woot!

And with that, I am now 60% done with the IC piping. Ordered one more J-pipe and then I will send it all out for welding. Spent the longest time futzing with the oil system lines vs IC pipes, though. Made brackets that will hold everything in their places and such...
Better news is that the Supra meet is in 10 hours so I'm going to get some sleep!

So after the Supra meet I was on fire to get stuff done on my car, seeing as it was the second meet I had no Supra for :(

Things I got done:
Cut 4" intake pipe to fit space and look decent.
Apply thread sealer to all pipe fittingsand install. Assembled turbo oil feed line and installed.
Re-work and weld together the stock throttle linkage to work in FFIM configuration, also made a bracket and hooked up the cable
Run the 12awg fuel pump supply circuit and hook up the control relay for it.
Tap threads in the PCV section of the throttle body for easier/prettier hookup, get PCV hooked up
Ordered a catch can and a boost controller (AEM tru-boost)
Get the Fuel pressure regulator mounted.
Spray penetrating lube on every single suspension adjuster to get them ready for disassembly and lubing up for the new suspension and alignment.

Very Nice Mr. Steve. Excellent manifold. Also, Not many think to try to loosen suspension bits up; it saves on someone having to use a torch to loosen them to line everything up.
