I hate autos. Those things have drums and gears and a bunch of things that are easy to misplace.

Gearboxes are nice and simple.

I just sold a R154 rebuilt with Marlin Crawler goodies and new bearings for 800.

Price that sucker out. One smoking deal.

That's a good price! What'll it take for ME to get one of those bad boys from you!? Heck, I'd take a long drive to come and pick it up if I had to! (And even bring a small KEG OF BEER for your trouble... along with cash!)

Make me a deal... I'm ready to lose the BOX-O-ROCKS-GRANNY-TRANNY I'm scooting with at the moment! ASAP!

PS: I'd have a complete core to bring along, too... if that helps?

I don't have time to build one right now. :(. Summer class and fiddling with my 1JZ car....soon to be standalone.

I will let you know when I have one for sale and if you need it. I actually have a WTB ad open for blown R154s.

Steve- Beer is a currency in the auto world and normal shop talk always involves the recent woman we took home....in that case. :p

Understood. I'll try a local guy... although he wants MORE than a few beers to do the job! DOH!

Aside from sleeping an excessive amount today, I got my fuel pump hanger modofications wrapped up!

What's been done:
Braze new 3/8" return pipe onto hanger and bend to clear pumps
Drill out 2 feed outlet holes and mount -6 90degree bulkhead fittings.
Drill out 2 holes for pump voltage supply, I used 1/8 compression fittings hogged out to be less likely to cut the wires, O-rings inside to seal vapors.
Run 2 12awg voltage feeds to the pumps and soldered them together.
Run an 8awg ground cable outside the sender and double up the ground for the pumps with an extra12awg jumper. I'm trying to avoid grounding problems ;)

What's left to do:
Run 8awg fuel pump supply circuit
Wire in second relay for 2nd fuel pump
Hog out the baffle's fuel feed hole in tank just a little (from 10mm to 14mm)
Install sender in tank
Make 4 fuel lines to jumper from tank to fuel filters
Make brackets to support both fuel filters
Install the whole shebang!

Fuel filters are mounted, tank is assembled and installed! Last things left are to run the new voltage supply wire, add the 2nd relay, and reinstall the intake manifold!

Here's a pic of the filters installed

Fuel pump install is finally done! Set the pressure a half hour ago and got the intake reinstalled! Started it up and it ran like poo, but then I realized I had forgotten the MAP sensor hose X( Reconnected that and then it ran like it it should!

I'm happy to report that the noise from the pumps is very low, only slightly louder than my mk4 TT denso. (possibly because they are strapped directly to the pump hanger bracket.?) Very happy with them so far, but we'll see how it drives tomorrow and Monday!

Also got my Scion Radio modified to fit, and installed it- looks good and sounds great! Lets just hope it copes with hard suspension a little better than the Camry radio did.

So what do you think of your new fuel pump/injector setup? Have you upped the boost with that 67mm. I'm dying to know,
I just got the same pumps. What kind of power are you shooting for?

Wow, these pumps are awesome! I've only gotten the boost up to 22lbs, but damn it pulls hard. So hard, that I need new tires to not burn them from a roll-on!

Power goal is somewhere in the 600-700 range, but I'm not actually shooting for a number- just trying to see what the setup will do. With the tubular manifold, boost hits hard at 4krpm, and doesn't peter out up top. We'll see what it does sooner or later!

I hopefully going to the dyno today (just 3 pulls) so I'm going to do a before/after test to see if it picks anything up!

I need to pick me up one of them manifolds. Either that or have my fab guy build me a manifold... haha

Steve, with the RR manifold, do you think there would be enough room to put a QSV in there without the turbo fouling on the hood?

Hood space- no prob.
QSV- may interfere with the wastegate location.

What size turbo are you thinking of using? to be honest, this manifold gave me so much more as far as spool is concerned- 5000rpm on the stock manifold and a boss sr (.83 a/r), 4000 on this tubular and a .81 T4. It also gives a better spool-in (not sure how to say that) where it builds boost more readily when below the hard spool point. I also thik my boost controller is helping a lot, compared to rob's (92nsx) mine hits like a box of rocks where his 61 feels lazy and lethargic. I'm using an AEM tru-boost, he's using a profec type A.
