I can now feel my fingers, but more importantly it's all done! FIlled it up with coolant and fired it up- tune needs a LOT of work, but it runs!

You need a larger heater for your garage ;) Tune? Ya should need some but not TONS. Mine works some what fine (only idle issue) on the OEM TCCS. But then again my car dose a lot of stuff a supra never should do or hold,

lol, heater works decent, but I really need a bigger garage :p
Fiddling ith the tune s going well so far, found out why it starts so hard when its cold- I was giving it less fuel for startup than I did for any single point on the map doh!! Fixed, now just need to get the CPS timing dialed back in! I'm really thinking about making a cam/crank sensor setup to get rid of that thing...you have to figure adjustable cam gears=duble adjustable CPS timing :/

In the end after timing in the cams here is what Mine came up with. (1 mark on cam gear = 2 degrees) Exhaust:

Yep, got that one! I am just whining about changing the exhaust cam. Any time I change it, the CPS synchro is affected. Need to adjust the cps to zero the sytem back out, which I don't wanna do! I've been looking for close-up pictures of the setup Duane has, but have had poor luck as of yet. Might just need to develop my own system :)

Whoo! Got the map remade and got the cold-starting much better! Upped the limiter to 7600, fixed some timing table bits, and got the idle correction tables right! Goona confirm the cold-start is working tomorrow, but Yeah!

Mah brakes are on their way- should be here by tuesday next week! Shifter should be around sooner or later as well...
Tweaking continues with the tune, trying to get it dialed in- cold starting is getting better, however I suspect uber cold + ethanol = not good cold starting characteristics D:

Stuff is happening! My brakes have arrived and they are freakin huge!
My turbo is also being sent out for a billet compressor wheel upgrade, as well an extra 3mm ;) I finally get my 64mm turbo, and it'll be billet nonetheless!

Go fast, brake faster! We will have to test braking some day. I call you out on the slowest-shortest race ever 60-0. Lighter weight supra vs heavy Cadillac. Im guessing it will be close ;)

Thanks guys! I'm now working on my suspension since the brakes require lots of work with the knuckles (need to remove the ABS sensors/backing plates/reinstall abs sensors)
Here's how I'm doing!
p1687958_1.jpg

As it stands now, only the PS is apart, the rest will come out tonight!

There will be poly bushings going in the front suspension now, and more may follow in rear if the adjustments are seized! New alignment bolts are on order just to have new, unrusted hardware :D

Can I join in, on the two wheel variety? Although it is possible I may only be on one of them for the "race" though.

Was good seeing you st.patties night!

Hokay, got the bushings all installed today, just waiting on new adjustment hardware to reassemble! Well, that and to clean off the PS front subframe- lots of greasy sludge built up there from previous repairs :/
YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!
Brakes mocked up in the rim:
p1688393_1.jpg

So I got a pressure washer to clean it up! And, in typical Steve-esque fashion, its broke and needs fixing (almost done with that, too!)

Cool, got it all done, aside from the brake bleeding :D I'll be doing that tomorrow night and then throw the wheels on to see how it looks! Pics tomorrow, I'm going to bed.

With all of this I had to replace the head gasket on my snowblower which blew right after I started plowing the driveway- crap! Oh well, hand shoveled for the time being, but a new RTV head gasket is curing right now ;)
