Thanks. I'll go ahead and take one. I'll also need to make a make-shift intake pipe. I'm going to hook up my stock AFM for the time being so I can get this car on the road and break in the new motor. I was thinking of gettting one section of 3" exhaust pipe 18"s in length, and two of your 3" silicone coupler with clamps. I'll send you a PM. Thanks again.

BTW, I think I just found my small oil leak on the passenger side of car. The Oring on my dipstick was pinched out of place and wasn't sitting properly. I'll try another Oring. It was leaking directly underneath the passenger side motor mount. Guess where the dipstick mount is located.

This morning I was looking through the tranny inspection area while my wife was pushing on the clutch pedal. The pin is on the clutch fork, and is pushing it at about 1/2 - 5/8" at best. I'm wondering is that enough to disengage the clutch. There's still evidence of it leaking though. I still want to replace it.

TSRM doesn't give any specs on how far the shift fork must travel to work properly.

HAPPY EASTER guys! Have a good one and drive safe out there. Cops all over the place for the holiday weekend.

A little car update. Put a new o-ring on the dipstick tube with a little black rtv silicone. Starter her up and she still leaks. Looked a little further into it and now a can visually see where it's coming from. Turbo drain line from the turbo side. I'll take it down and see if everything is tightened good.

I've just been posting updates to keep this thread alive. I can talk about something else. What are you guys up to?

Same thing happened to me when I swapped the twins on mine. It sucked I had to take almost everything apart again to get to the lines all because I forgot to put the gaskets on lol

Lately i've been on the job hunt. Don't have much experience under my belt or education so it's pretty difficult. I think of myself as a jack of all trades but a master of none.. (music, computers, cars, sales, customer service, general labor. Tell me what I need to do and I'll do it and if I don't know how ill figure it out) I just gotta find somebody that will give me another chance like Honda did. I fucked up bad.. making 60k+ a year at 19....
Anyways I think me and David switched places dammit lol jk man glad you've got a job now

What were you doing at Honda, and how did you screw that up?

I fixed the leak. I just pulled off the CHRA and left the turbine on the manifold. Tightened everything good, and bolted it back up.
You guys remember me talking about my custom bottom falling out of the muffler exhaust. We'll here it is.

Ya'll know you want this exhaust. That kind of customization takes years to do. Don't hate.

keep posting Rufus. Always glad to see your progress. I've just been working and messing with my car here and there. nothing major going on over here. Oh I have payed off everything I owe or shall i say we owe aside from her student loans. Feels good to have no car payment or any credit card payments. Next is to get her that ring Ive been talking about for awhile. then its my turn.

Yup, they will plug up any hole left not covered.
So put a piece of tape over anything left unhooked,
fuel lines, oil lines, vacuum lines, and any holes in your engine.

Good luck on the job hunt.

Oh man nice, my mk3 looked like it had rotted out the whole bottom and side. I know how you feel, I just hacked mine off and left it lol. Ahh the yellow rear bumper I remember that shit haha

At honda I was a service advisor. I had everything set. I was leader in sales, had a perfect pay plan. The schedule and the stress kinda sucked. I was late two days in a row, not even 30 minutes (i just overslept..sorry..) and he let me go... I don't have more than a couple months experience as a service advisor amd my driving record sucks so getting another job in that position is hard.

If anybody has any suggestions our job openings let me know, I'm open to anything.

Sorry to hear that Travis. Service advisor is a really good paying job, but it is very stressful. I had a friend that did it for Ford for almost 15 years before he changed careers. It's going to be very hard finding another job that paid as much as the one you had. If I were you I'd still hit up on all of the dealerships and try to get that same position if you really wanted it. Or at a parts counter at the dealership. From what I understand you get commission selling parts too. At least at some dealerships. Even if it is two months of experience at least you have that.

This morning I fabbed up my intake pipe and put my stock AFM back on to see if it solved my problem. It did. Car no longer wants to die when I give it some gas. At this time I'm going to try to run my MAP ECU along with my stock set up and see if it picks up on RPM signal. If it still doesn't then I need to send that unit in to get checked out.
I almost ready. Need to prep and paint front and rear bumpers & side view mirrors.
