Then it would be ideal for all of us to meet in Austin. That would be cool as hell. Maybe this year I can attend that cars and coffee in Austin you guys went to last year. We can get the Dallas guy to come down for that event too. Was it cars and coffee, or some other event?
I think it's something else... the car scene in Austin is very very lowkey... I'm actually hoping to organize a REAL cars n coffee next year as well as a bigger meet to coincide with the F1 races... I haven't worked out any details yet since the June 17 date for the race is still not set in stone... if you guys are on texassupras.com I have a thread for this meet started =D I'm hoping lots of ppl will show for that "meet" it's more of a "let's all hang out together and watch F1 racing and then race around in our cars afterwards" LOL Also will have events planned since F1 is a week long event.
Rufus, nice vid! I've driven past the Supra meet on the northside once, seems to all be mkIV owners, and for the most part, they aren't my kinda people lol
I know what you mean. Rc was a really cool mkiv owner but he was military, and I think he shipped out already. Most of those guys don't touch their cars.

Thanks. Yeah, I know what you mean about some of those MKIV guys. Heck, MKIII owners with 2J swaps are right up there with them. They think their poop don't stink. :icon_razz
Yeah I hope this fall we can have a good mkiii get together. There are three new guys and us old guys then if we can get gio to bring his south side crew it would be a nice showing.

Hey Rufus. Just wanted to thank you for helping me out on getting my cylinder head within specs. I ordered those bigger shims and i think that i learned enough to change them out. Gasket should be here today....ups says out for delivery.
Mike,
Why i gotta be the old man?? My feelings man...c'mon. LOL...i'll be done with the community stand hopefully next weekend.
No prob Darrell. You're moving right along. You'll be on the road in no time.
David, did you ever pop the valve cover off and re-check your valve lash. Did you find where that ticking was coming from. If one is out of spec we can re-adjust it.
Soo, found out today that the wife and I might be getting stationed at Yokota earlyish next year... Needless to say, I'm like a kid in a candy store at the thought lol...

And for those who arent familiar, Yokota is about an hour outside Tokyo
Watch out for earthquakes. My cousin and her husband where out there when the big one hit. Luckily they where in the southwestern side and were not effected. She said they are pretty common out there. That should be sweet, you can collect parts.
