Bogwon- Do you ever sleep?? lol.

Grandavi- Great, you're scaring me now. As for the bov, I don't intend to recirculate, since I'm using a MAFT pro, so that's one headache I can avoid.
As for the pipe fitment, I'll have to wait till I get the turbo mocked up to see how much has to be fixed.

I have been staring at this pic all morning. Lol
Love the look of this motor, can say there is much I would change about it.

I'm guessing, by the lack of spark plug valley cover, you're doing the cop mod. Right?

Correct.
Have to order a new harness from DM today.

So I saw this post earlier and am in the middle of this "COP" mod on my car with the exception of the harness lengthening process, which brings me to my question! Does DM have a harness already made for this mod? I had a fruitless search on DM.

Also I sleep on occasion! Last couple months I've been on graveyard shift, although tomorrow I start normal hours again! YAY for normal sleeping hours! :p

Hey Bogwon.
No, ive never seen a modded harness for sale, but from the threads that ive read, it's not a difficult process.
Once i get my harness, i post pics of the mod.

Decided to avoid getting greasy today, so i played with the gauge cluster.
I wanted to install a warning light for low oil pressure, so i got started.
Warning horn, led socket, and led with resistor.

Cluster open, with needles removed.

Small access hole through the back.

Small hole drilled into gauge face.

Led in gauge.

Do i wish i had put the led one mm higher? Yeah... Will i lose sleep over it? Not likely.
Another pet peeve of mine is the fact that the oil gauge lightbulb is smaller than the rest, and thats why it's always dimmer than the other gauges, especially with led's, so i widened the hole and put in the larger led.

No? Nobody likes electrical? Well, that's fair. After all, this is stage 2-drivetrain, and here I am, cheating with interior stuff.
Ok, back to the engine then. Today, I received my AN-10 radiused, O-ring oil fittings, and so I worked on my oil cooler circuit.

Made a mount for the remote adapter(with god-awful welds)

Remote adapter mounted.

Fitted the lines from the block.
IMG_20130522_181120_030_zpsba02ac9f.jpg

Had to grind away about a 1/4" of metal under the frame rail, so that the return line from the oil cooler wasn't touching.

Added the Earl's thermostatic sandwich adapter, and a K&N filter.

So that's pretty much it for now. Once the turbo arrives from the Supra Store, I can mock up the ic kit, and then start fabbing the exhaust.
Also have battery terminals and cables on the way, and later, I'll drop the fuel tank to install the Stealth 340, and relay mod in the hatch.

How are you routing your lines from the engine to the adapter? I have mine set up similarly, and the lines run down between the fan and engine, but it is very close to both the fan and the power steering pump pulley, so I would like to move them. I want to keep the filter adapter in the same place and run the lines through the factory airbox hole still, but I need a better way of getting them from the engine to the adapter without going near moving components.

Kinda like this-

Straight shot. I wanted to minimize bends and turns.
I plan to relocate the power steering resevoir to the front side of the rad, so I don't think that space will be an issue.

Hey thanks for the pics. I guess the reason I can't do mine exactly like that is because I am using the Canton adapter which has the lines exit 90 degrees to the oil filter mounting surface. I can probably get some 90 fittings and do something similar though.
I like the new oil pressure light. I did something similar myself but just opted to use the unused ABS light location (I don't have ABS)

Good god man! I've always been told to hide an ugly weld all you have to do is throw some paint on it... This is clearly not true LOL! Don't make me fly down there and give you a welding lesson!

I know, I know. I had the spool speed too slow, I found out. You'll be pleased to know that I have removed the mount bracket, as It causes the entire assembly to sit right where the IC pipe has to go. So instead, I made a tiny mount plate with threaded holes, and it will be mounted right against the metal under the headlight, with hopefully much smoother welds.

How about removing the OEM Power Steering cooler line, and run an appropriate stacked cooler?

It's a possibility.
In fact, since I have decided to put a custom resevoir on the outer side of the radiator support, a small cooler will make more sense, because it will be easier.
