Project Clean 87

The compound is going on now, and then a good coat of polish. The front bumper and nose piece are on, as well as the passenger side mirror. I should be picking my car up tonight. If not, I'll be extremely pissed off. Side note, while moving my car inside the shop it sounded like a Subaru, ran like crap, but the air/fuel was spot on at 14.7 as well as having no smoke visable anywhere. I'm hoping that it just needs a fresh tank of gas and to be warmed up since it has yet to be warmed up to normal operating temperature in over a week. Here's pics.

Well, due to a flaw on the roof right above the drivers side drip rail I will have to wait until tomorrow morning to get the Supra. But I have started to reinstall some trim parts on it.

Got the beast back this morning and got her fully assembled by 3. I'll give her a good bath and detail shortly. Fuck it's hot here (quickly climbing to 100+). Pictures later after the bath.

If I do install a lip it will be the stock one. Nothing wild. The paint is far from perfect, but it is a far cry from what it was. It's been over a year since my Supra was all one color.

I gotta clean the engine bay, vaccum the interior and wipe down the body more with a Flitz rag. If I do ever put a wing on, I will put on a really mild 3 piece whale tale.

Not fully Rodel. I still have a lot more to do to this car. I've just touched the tip of the ice berg. A couple years from now I'll be tearing down the Supra fully and doing a show quality paint job, widebody, and a few other things. That, and my interior still has 4 flaws (needs new carpet, new center console arm rest, the drivers seat to be fixed [torn in a couple spots], and the dash has 2 small holes in it).

Well. I attempted 3 passes in the 1/4 mile to no avail. I needed the water to get my tires to break free (and it still took a second for the clutch to grab). I bested only 14.2 seconds. I'll be replacing the clutch, flywheel, and disc, but not for a while. I need to install my other parts and pay some bills. I'll post pictures later.
