Everyone is "all for" a new product, cause they want to see more products for the mk3, but when it actualy comes down to purchasing, no one steps up.
This guy is estimating the cost to be around 3k for subframes, he hasnt taken into account most people paid less then that for their entire car. Mk3 owners dont seem to understand parts cost MONEY. Development COSTS MONEY.
And to Tubbie: Do you belive we dont have competition for mk3 brake kits? Precision makes a kit, ARZ makes a kit, Endless makes a kit, Nightpager (and 935) made a kit. 935 spent the time and MONEY to have 10 Nightpager brackets made (which were much higher quality then the orginals) and he sat on them for about a YEAR, before finaly selling them off.

A-model_ said:So.... This sub frame you talk about, how is it going to be built?, CNC , or tubular. What kind of options for differentials are there going to be?
JunkerMK3gte said:the subframes will be tig welded chromoly tubing. (a peice of 1 5/8" .065 weighs in at just under a pound- foot..... mild steel almost 2) and the gears will be our companies, with options of, 3.05, maybe even2.93's for the high horsepowercars, but more along the lines of the parts not readily available like 4.56, 4.88, and 3.93
