I'm more interested in the subframes than anything else. That's something that hasn't been done before to my knowledge.

I was considering having a set made actually, price will be the critical factor tho, I don't doubt that you can remove 200lbs with it, but i'd like some information on what pricing and torsional increases will be like.

The subframes together do not weigh 200 lbs. You MIGHT be able to save 50 lbs by going to new subframes of equal strength in Aluminum.

Face it, our cars have a lot of meat in locations where it is difficult to remove (ie the body)

between control arms, front and rear subframes, they're not light at all. 200lbs might be aggressive, but surely you can save more than 50lbs.

:icon_bigg sorry for the wait fellas, scanner took a dump, and i tried taking pictures of my pics and they came out like poo. so just work with me. I will get em up. and as far as the brakes i took a look and they are wilwood, but what i worked on is a 6pot ultra light and rotor setup. not like those 4pot that are for sale. the brackets are to convert from a floater to a fixed caliper i designed for it arent available. and they will be cnc'd when and IF i can find enough people interested...... again. tell me what you think and again i APPRETIATE YOUR INPUT. the sub frames in WHOLE (ie control arms, suspension AND all the mounts) do weigh in. please dont take what i say as irrelevant, or idiocy, i like the input and some of the criticism is from lack of my informative notes. But please, i do not have to do any of this. I mean no rudeness, or disrespect when i say this. but i too could do this for myself and not share my knowledge or resources with anybody if i so choose. leave the ridicule to the adolescent generation.:3d_frown:

Now why would you say something like that? If he does end up producing quality parts, you'll look like an ass. Wouldn't it have been better to wait to see if he produces what he says he can and then make a decision?

I would buy a subframe, even if it was around 2500. I just cracked and twisted my rear subframe and would love to have a product like that right now to fix this.

You do know that only non sport package NA supras came with the 4.30's, right?

Turbos come with 3.71's or 3.93's and a rare 4.10...

You really need to do what has been said on here already. We have a very obvious vendor's section on here, browse it IN DETAIL and see what is already offered, and plan from there, or this WILL get ugly.

yeah, thats why i said that. for those who want to change them, and replacment gears are not cheap, and used ones arent the best thing to use. For the subframes, it might be awhile, i just started a promod chassis (drag racing) and itll be about a month until i get anything 'big' done with the supra. it sucks, but its my bread and butter0623071132 (2).jpg but in my free time i will keep workin on it.thanks for your guys help.

Again, ARZ has a full 4 pot and 6 pot kit completed, it's in the vendor's section. Did you miss his 6 pot kit?

the frames, depending on any unplanned circumstance, the front, rear, and all control arms and hardware will be around 3k. or if the control arms themselves intrest you theyre for around 1k.but also plan on aftermarket coil-overs. not exactly feasable to run factory shocks (you can, but i wouldnt)

Just because ARZ has the kits already doesn't mean someone else can't make the SAME kit cheaper. Not only that, more vendors = more competition = lower prices....

Sheesh.... and you all wonder why we have nothing for these cars and complain when everything is so exspensive. :3d_frown:

.... a chromoly stroker kit that will be (possibly many) manufactured through our company from Callies Cranks that will be a 3.6L setup.

I'd be interested in a stock stroke Callies crank. I know they make the one for the old HKS 7M drag car....do they still have the blueprints for it?

So.... This sub frame you talk about, how is it going to be built?, CNC , or tubular. What kind of options for differentials are there going to be?

Don't see the prices getting much lower on something like that than they are... I'm sure Andy isn't getting much profit from it if you consider the price of machining, developement time, and price of goods...

I don't complain about high prices, if I want something, by God I save up for it and buy it.

Biggest problem with mk3 owners right there.

Everyone is "all for" a new product, cause they want to see more products for the mk3, but when it actualy comes down to purchasing, no one steps up.

This guy is estimating the cost to be around 3k for subframes, he hasnt taken into account most people paid less then that for their entire car. Mk3 owners dont seem to understand parts cost MONEY. Development COSTS MONEY.

And to Tubbie: Do you belive we dont have competition for mk3 brake kits? Precision makes a kit, ARZ makes a kit, Endless makes a kit, Nightpager (and 935) made a kit. 935 spent the time and MONEY to have 10 Nightpager brackets made (which were much higher quality then the orginals) and he sat on them for about a YEAR, before finaly selling them off.
