Willwood brakes are made by another vendor on here, but make it so you can sell it cheaper. We need competition on here for the prices to drop.....

If you're going to make a big brake kit, make one with a caliper that has dust boots. There are already plenty of vendors that use Wilwood calipers at reasonable prices.

sorry to pollute this thread, but wilwood makes CHEAP calipers, and they make FANTASTIC FORGED LIGHTWEIGHT calipers...

arz uses the second option, he COULD use cheaper components, but why would you want to?

dust boots ont he calipers are NOT needed, wilwwod has been making them like that for years without any issues... (read the front brakes thread where I scanned in from a magazine and their comments...)

I'd be interested to see almost any suspension mods you can come up with. I think a new vendor would do pretty well if they specialized in suspension ranging from just replacement parts to full on subframes like you were talking about. I need to replace a lot of parts down there and would love to see what you have to offer.

When I asked arz about it, he basically said that his kit was not meant to be used on a daily driven car. My car gets even worse treatment; it sits in a garage and gets driven once in four blue moons. I just think that in *my* situation, the pistons will eventually rust and seize from lack of use. That's why I want a kit with dust boots.

I've often wondered why some with deep pockets, solidworks experience and good old Aluminum 6061 couldn't all come together for lightweight subframes with some real weight loss.

You don't need a BBK on the street. if you have lots of horsepower and you are fading high quality pads on the street than you are driving way too hard and you probably will get a ticket eventually.

You do know that only non sport package NA supras came with the 4.30's, right?

Turbos come with 3.71's or 3.93's and a rare 4.10...

You really need to do what has been said on here already. We have a very obvious vendor's section on here, browse it IN DETAIL and see what is already offered, and plan from there, or this WILL get ugly.

I'm more interested in the subframes than anything else. That's something that hasn't been done before to my knowledge.

I was considering having a set made actually, price will be the critical factor tho, I don't doubt that you can remove 200lbs with it, but i'd like some information on what pricing and torsional increases will be like.
