Jay, check your timing and fuel at idle, remember you did change the degreeing of the cams a bit, so you might want to adjust the idle to compensate. Are your AFRs jumping with the idle?

I'll check it when I can crank it Mike. It doesn't stay running long enough to check the afr's without holding down the throttle. It shouldn't be too hard to fix though. I do own a roll of duct tape.

Jay have you thought about making some sort of mold out of wax and styrofoam to solve all your problems???:icon_razz

I would totally try that.

That sounds exactly like something you would try............well in between buying vw beetles, surfer vans, rollbacks, supra meets, grass cutting and weed eating. I'm pretty sure you'll get this thing finished before your kids start college............:biglaugh:

I'm making a video to show how the car is running. Hopefully someone can help me out a little.
Here it is.

The boost guage isn't hooked up yet. I wish that was all I had to worry about..........but it's not.

I raised the fuel in the water temperature chart and now it runs great. I drove it for four or five miles today. I'm going to drive it to the golf course and back tomorrow. Hopefully I get to drive it there and back. That's the plan anyways. Wish me luck.

visitors..........yeah.........

The afr's are o.k. , but I still have some tuning to do on it. I just want to drive it to start getting the motor broke in. I rev'd it up to about 4000rpm a couple times today and let the motor bring the rpms back down gradually to help seat the rings. I'm going to drive it relatively easy for a few hundred miles and I'm also trying to get the clutch to reseat itself. It won't be too long though and I'll be making another dyno video. I'm pretty sure George is wanting to come up and dyno his 92 at the same time. He's wanting to see what the T66 will do. I'll be sure and video it for everyone. I still have to get Vonda's dyno'd as well.

I think it was just trying to warn the neighbors that it will OWN very soon.

As for the break in, don't even start to believe that leaving the boost gauge unhooked qualifies for NO boost for at least 1000 miles.

If you see no boost, there is no boost.............:withstupi

I drove it almost fifty miles today and never got it above three pounds of boost. I should be good to go wot in a day or so..............:sarcasm:
