Need help with 1.5jz build

I cant remember if the 1.5 can use the same belt as the 1jz. Something tells me it should use the 2jz belt.
I got my new steering rack installed yesterday and did a lot of cleaning so I can respray my engine bay once I pick up some more paint. I'm still waiting patiently on my new rods and pistons. It seems Eagle has been slipping on their shipments of rods and that's the hold up. I"m calling them today to find out where they're at. I"ve waited for over a week now and that's another week of perfect weather that I've lost to drive my car in.

I got my pistons and rods today. They are off to the machine shop tomorrow morning bright and early. I ordered a new set of ARP studs for the head today since I had used the other ones three times. I think it's time for a change.
I've got to order me a new Tial bov since I installed mine on Vonda's car. I'm also going to have to order her a rebuild kit for her transmission. It won't hold the power she's making and it pissses me off, but her car should run really well with the ray bestos blue clutches.

I've ordered a new TiAL bov, new vacuum lines, and new ARP studs for the head and the cams. I should have my parts for the new block delivered tomorrow so they can start work on it. If anyone is wondering about the clearances on these new pistons, they call for .003 so that's half what my other build had. They had .006 clearances and that is why I could move them I guess. This time it had better be done right, because I don't feel like going through this again. I'm hoping to get the engine bay painted this weekend so I"ll be ready to install the motor next weekend if I can get it degreed by then.

It was going to be a secret, but he decided my car looked sooooooooooo much better than his, that he is really painting not just the bay but the whole car white.
