Don't make me ban you! Please post the picture with the correct link.

OH yeah, welcome to Supramania. I also don't have the authority to ban you, or I would seriously be considering it. I hate supra picture teasers.

I don't have a picture of it finished yet. I'll take one and post it up later this evening. I"ll post it like it is, even though I may have to respray it. I couldn't get the gun to spray in a fan like pattern. It kept wanting to spray more like a stream. I also have to wetsand it and try to get my uncles hand print out of it.........:3d_frown:
I guess he wanted to see if it was dry yet, well it wasnt'!!!!!!!!

I haven't had any help today so I didn't get as much done as I wanted too. I'm now leaving to go to a basketball game, but I will work on it when I get back home around 4:30. Here is what I did this morning.

In the last picture you can see where the T3 and T4 flanges wouldn't match up, so I drilled some holes in the T4 and had some studs welded in this morning. I've also got to have the wastegate flange welded on to the dump tube and then have it extend down into the bottom of the engine bay. My new downpipe doesn't have the same connections as my turbine either so I have to have the flange cut off of my original downpipe and then welded onto the new downpipe. I'm going to get all of that done monday or tuesday hopefully. I still have to run some wire out to my shed for 220 for the new welder I have. I'm getting it done slowly but surely. Panick hasn't set in yet, but it's getting close. I need to find a 2jz waterneck pipe. Neither of the blocks I have had one with it..............damnit man!!!!!

That RED will always be right there at your head..........if not, at least it has already infected your head somewhat. We will sway you over to the Red side sooner or later. You just don't realize it yet.

Motor is looking good!

I would rather try and find a 2jz water pipe, but I thank you for the kind offer. I'm going to call Aaron and Jose to see if they have one lying around and if they dont, I'll call Jeff at Champion to see how much a new one is. If it's too expensive, I'll have the one from my 7m welded to the one from my 1jz. The one from the 7m is only about a quarter of an inch too short..............I knew they weren't good for anything............:biglaugh:

You know in thinking about my pushing the car from Baton Rouge coment, I now feel it may have been wrong of me to make such assumptions. I mean really, I am Jay's guest in his car so he should be the one to get out and push the car to Texas.:icon_razz

Glad I got that off my chest I feel much better!! :icon_bigg
i feel ya on that ryan.
Scott, from my house to the first few exits in baton rouge is about 2.25 hours.

Looks like a 1JZ oil bracket. Good idea there. You would have found the 2JZ one interferes with the frame, making it impossible to get the filter off.

Is that the oil drain on the side of the turbo there? It's a bad idea to have it at that much of an angle. 45* from bottom max. Too much angle, and the oil's going to pool in the turbo, build up too much pressure, and leak out of the seals.

The drain is on the back of the turbo. I used this setup on my 1jz and never had problems with it. Thanks for looking out though.

That is the 1jz oil bracket too. I'm glad I made a good choice by putting it back on. I guess I just got lucky, because I didn't know the 2jz would cause me any problems. Maybe my subconcience knew it and guided me towards the 1jz bracket.
