How much whp do you think you'll have by the time I get over to Philly in May? I'm going to miss your old '90 shell, but I'm excited to see the new one.

Prob not as much as the red one was when I took it apart. I'll be hitting fuel/boost cut. Plus I won't be hooking my ebc yet. Just gonna be able to cruise until I get a standalone. I'm hoping to have it cruisable by all the meets coming up.

Kind of been at a stand still with the car lately. I did however get the power line ran for the battery relocation, ran oil lines and mounted the oil cooler and oil filter relocation that I got from Summit. Finished routing the ic piping. Hooked up the afpr. I still need to mount it. Yesterday I bought some new goodies. Walbro 255lph fuel pump, AEM wideband, and suspension technique swaybar and bushings. I'll try to post some pics later.

It's slowly getting there! Yesterday I finally made a bracket. Welded up some metal lying around. Primered it and painted it. Came out pretty good. Forgot to take a pic of the actual bracket but I got one of it mounted.

You can kinda see it here.

Today I got clutch/brake pedals for the car including the clutch line to do the auto/manual swap, started to do the fog light rewire so that the fogs come on without the head lights.

i don't know if this is maybe just a canadian thing but my headlights in my 92 came on when the headlights were down and it wasn't rewired (confrimed this with my toyota dealership) maybe you won't need to do it either. sorry for the irrelevant info if it is just a canadian car spec.

car looks awesome and looks like it's gonna be a blast, makes me miss my 92 more! good luck

Interesting... is there a separate switch to control the headlight motors to go up and down? What's the point of the headlights turning on when its down ey? lol

speaking of which... i did the fog light rewire on an 88 supra for a buddy and it wouldn't work... I double checked everything and was right. I are confused... I've been meaning to look it up. I've done it on my 87 with no problems and also did it on my 90 also with no problems. Ideas anyone?

make sure wiring didn't come loose when you spliced. I did it on my 89 and 92, but when I did a 90, it just wouldn't work..

turns out one of the wires came loose, super-simple stuff..:D

So I started to upgrade the fuel pump yesterday. There was half a tank of fuel left in there from 2007. I took out the old fuel pump and compared it to the walbro. It just sulrised me to see that the walbro was smaller than the stock na pump.
Working on the car, I'm finding rust I didn't see when I bought it. :( I'm probably going to end up stripping the car down during the fall/winter and fix all the rust issues. Take off the subframes and powder coat them. Put all polybushings.

haha nice "canadian" throw in with the eh:icon_roll and the purpose is for day time running lights. all cars need them i guess. as the headlights aren't up the fog's are our day times. once the headlights are up you can turn the fogs on and off at will with the switch beside the sunroof switch. pointless info agian on my behalf just replying.

^thanks I didn't know that. I was thinking what's the point of automatic daytime running headlights on flip up head lights lol. It would be flipped down with the lights on. What's the Point. Lol but I get it now

haha its just mainly i think there is some forming in the rear tire wells and i have the usual rust in the spare tire well and where the battery is also lol

i figure i take car of the important rust and then freshen up the int with some front and rear seat covers then i'll pull the motor again and have the engine bay completely painted and be done
unless a clean no rust white shells comes up LOL but im gonna try to hold onto mine unless things are to bad
