You need to pull off this rom board that is glued in, then remove the D151802-6220 rom and put it back into the
stock socket. Or you can contact technosquareinc and ask them to burn you a stock rom chip.

You lucky bastard.

Bob, you should remove that rom board, it may be part of your idling problem. God knows what program you have on there... it could be for big injectors. Also those rom boards are very sensative to static electricity, and bad connections. Put your ecu back to stock before doing anything else.

I've owned one of those boards, and am friends with one of the old gforce people... before they became technosquareinc. I've seen alot of them go bad, not to say they are bad product, but from mishandling.

is there any way to tell what it has been programed with like a serial number or something?

I forgot to mention i also have this Switch that was wired into the clip it had wires worked into the wires coming from the steering column i tried putting it in the other day before i knew about the Cap but i did not see any difference. Of Course though i have moved my TPS :( Stupid me.

I tried the switch on and off while running and the same before starting then changing it. I saw no change in the idle. Doesn't mean to say that it doesn't do something but only God knows right now...lol

no, because it was prolly done in japan, 10 years ago. You speak japanese? ;)

seriously, remove the rom board.

Check your injectors just in case... stockers are yellow. Aftermarket should have a sticker or different color.

so do lot's of other cars that were modded, and then returned back to stock before it was traded in ;)

good point lol

Well i am not to sure what they used to stick it there. looks like cocking. They got it on some of the transistors though so i'll have to be extra careful not to damage them getting this thing off.

let me know if you want to sell that rom board ;)

lol i'll let you know. I have not decided yet, if i want to let it go.

i know about the part number for the blank rom chip i only put that up to show that it was something that had to be done 1996 or Later since the Chip was only Manufactured in 1996.

I am going to contact the place i bought the clip from and ask them if they know of anything that was on the clip or if they took things out / change them to stock. Maybe i can find out what the config was before :)
