WOW, I'm glad I didn't see this until it was kind of resolved, I hope I haven't stepped on any toes. I certainly didn't mean to if I did & I apologize for creating an episode for Days of our Lives.

Aaron, I asked Jayson to help because he is local & I asked to help me complete the whole swap. I'm right in the middle of moving & Jayson is about the only person I can trust to turn a wrench on my car in this area. Come Thursday, my car has to be driven out of my current home, and Jayson is my insurance policy. If I lived on the left coast, there's no doubt that my car would have been in your & Jose hands.

Jayson, being self employed, I can understand where Aarons concerns come from. As you progress professionally, you will too. Don't misunderstand me, I'm definitely not pointing my finger & wagging it at you, I'm just saying that I understand Aarons thoughts. Not only is this his passion, it puts food on his table & a roof over his & his wifes head. Sometimes, you have to protect your corner of the sandbox.

I did not intend for this to happen. I'm just trying to get the hell out of here on Thursday. I owe the both of you a massive thank you for helping make that somewhat possible, and an apology for causing this friction.

I'm glad this was resolved with maturity between both parties. We don't need unhealthy rivalries between the two of you. Not only does it hurt the entire SM community, it makes both of your businesses suffer when lines are drawn.

Thats well said

I have to apologize as well. Aaron you have helped me a huge amount and provided me with some great parts.

Honestly i should have went to you first when Jayson mentioned he and you can do the wiring. So i must accept some resposibility in all this as well.

Not that you own me now, but more that you have taken the time out of your day's to help me. I should have better recognized this and went to you first. Some what in repayment for the help, but more so in a way to say thank you for the help.

I look forward to going to both you and Jayson for my future needs. Everyone has an area that they excel at. I am sure Jayson will find his. I am still learning yours. These would be some of my reasons for going to different people for different needs. All in an effort to support our community and to support each person for going out and braving such an endevour.

I too have vetured out on my own. Aaron is very correct as you do have to pay your dues in time and effort put into your business to achieve.

As the saying goes. You only get out of it, what you put into it.

Well everything has kind of stalled.

I have been to atleast 7 places now and no one carries a M12 ultra fine thread Bolt that would be long enough to Bolt my 1JZ to the Engine stand. The ones from the Bell housing are too Short.

this is killing me :(

Cut the tubes down a little on the engine stand bolt holes and use the bellhousing bolts from the 1jz. :icon_wink They are usually only 1/4" too short to work. Or I think some old 7m main bolts may fit.

my tubes might be to long then cause the bolts don't even stick out the other end LOL

or do you only need a 1/4" in the Holes for all four to hold up all that weight

Also do you use the 4 M12 or the 2 M12 at the tope and the two smaller ones at the bottom?

Never put an engine on a Engine stand before. for that matter never have taken an engine out of a car before :)

::hah:: ..................................That's awful Josh.

JK, I don't think it has to be pretty, just functional. What are you wiring up? Have you sent your harness to Aaron yet? I pulled mine out last night, but I still have to pull the body plugs...................my car may never run again.....:wtc:

I am trying ti wire up the EA2 and Thermisistor

I sent my wires off to aaron yesterday

Yeah, I'm screwed. I don't even know what the EA2 and the Thermissitor is. Hopefully Aaron has sworn to help me out. What site have you gotten most of your swap info from Josh? I've looked at most of them, but which ones should I really study? Thanks

I was just kidding about your soldering. They look fine to me............lol

lol im sure there are plenty of people on here including aaron and myself that will help you out with whatever you need.

the ea2 connector is the big square connector coming off the jz engine harness that coneects to the fuse box area.....

the thermistor that connectos to that is for the hydrofan to work properly and there are two wires that go into the ea2 connector and then the plug goes to the thermistor which goes in the bottom of the radiator.

if you send your stuff off to aaron or whomever all youll have to solder is the ea2 connector which is like 8-10 wires and they are all color matched ;) haha 2 to the thermistor, 3 to the alt, and 3 to the c1 connector off the 7m engine body harness connector by the fuse box....
its not that bad ;)
