Josh, in my earlier post, IP was instrument panel. I was just wondering if yours was still intact when you bought your clip. My clip is beat to hell and back, but the motor looks fine. No steering wheel, shocks, and my turbo Aduct is crushed. They didn't want me using anything but the motor.

The Front quarter panels were trash though only the hood and the head light covers were half decent and the Nose peice which i wrecked a bit.
I knew i was getting lucky with my clip. thats why i jumped all over it when i found it. Usually most i found had no body panels no steering wheel or shocks not even a Diffy. BTW my did not come with the Nice Torsen 4.10 diffy
but i figured it would not be the ennd of the world. the ratios are not that crazy far apart. Just means greater top speed for me
Did yours come with a drive shaft? I'm guessing the stock driveshaft will work since I didn't get one. Hopefully the 1jz bellhousing is the same size as the 7mgte so the driveshafts should be the same length...........lol
as far as i know the DS is the same and you can use the same one. Or so i hope now LOL

On the subject of the body connector harness wiring I feel I need to speak up.
I have done that on many of our installations in the past. I gave the info on how to do it to Mark (rakkasan) and he was going to send the connectors to me to do the wiring for $80. Idealsupra happened to be local so he offered to the the job instead. I'm not cool with him taking my ideas to take my customers. I just wanted Mark to be able to get his car done asap.
My offer stands for anyone who wants this job done. Ship me your connectors and I will wire them up correctly and then ship them back. I will ship them out within 1 week of receiving them. The diagrams online have some incorrect pinouts and colors, I would hate to have someone wire up the harnesses that does not have experience with it and the customers have issues.

i will sit here and say: to anyone who wants them done.... i have the ability...and aaron does as well...aaron has done a bunch of them and will give you awesome service and quality. i FEEL i could do the same and have done one of them so far. i feel either is a good option. so feel free to use either of us.

, and I shipped him parts already, plus another order that is going out on Monday. I'm beginning to think you are just being civil to me as a little game, because in the past you were a jerk to me whenever you had a chance, and now with Mark, Bob AND the aem gb in one week it's just too much to be coincidence. Like you said, you want to get your name out there, but why is it by doing exactly what I have been doing for the last several years? If I was going to do what you are doing I would just put the AEM tru-boost up on my website at $10 over cost, but I don't want to whore products out and kill other peoples sales just to make a buck.

mark is local and i have been helping him from when he was going 7m to when he was going 2j to when he was going 1j.... i dont know how you can think im taking business from you when it comes to him...even though i have done nothing of the sort.
i dont know why bob came to me over you if you have been helping him the entire time...i dont...youd have to ask him...i didnt bait him or anything..hell from the sound of it i was asking more then you seem to for the harnesses. i simply put it out there that i could do the harnesses...and a matter of fact i think in every post i said i could do them...i ALSO SAID YOU COULD DO THEM. i cant be blamed if someone comes to me over you. :dunno:
as explained before the aem gb was simply because its a newer product that seemed to have interest in it in a previous thread.... i dont see how running a gb on ANYTHING is me being a dick to you or stealing business. if that were the case i could never run a GB on anything considering you sell pretty much everything related to the mk3. again i dont understand.

The bottom line is that I am happy you are taking steps to start you own company. It is very rewarding when it goes well. It takes a lot of time and effort and from the outside it might look like it is easy but it is not. I've been putting in my dues for a few years but no body owes me anything. In a few years someone new will come in and do the same thing and you will feel the same way I do. I don't want people to feel obligated to buy anything from me again after I help by answering questions or selling them parts, but giving me a shot at it first would be cool. :dunno: I'm honstly not on SM to make money, I come here because I like the people and the cars. I sell far more stuff to our local customers, and 95% of our income is from engine builds and swaps. I just figure if I'm already going to be on the forum for 3 hours a day why not make it worth it, and give good deals on stuff.
