First off, great work on the rear end, it's looking really really good. Annnnnndd...I GUESS painting the bumper semi-gloss black (like weezl suggested) would look 'ok' given that the sides are already black.

I think the issue that I have with you changing it, to anything but chrome, is that you've got a great vintage look about the car that I think you would be losing if you didn't keep it chrome. Either way, fantastic job!

Hopefully I will go for the first test drive..... tonight... I hope

I am having a problem though... it ran perfect 2 days ago, and then the last time I started it it was shaking and running on 5 cyl.... have to fix that before the drive

All that is lleft before the drive is to put in the pinion seal, Install driveshaft, fill the axle, check trans level, adjust and bleed rear brakes.... and thats about it! should be not too bad to do in one night after work.
yes I will definently take a vid!

Bending the panhard bar will mess up the alignment... it's a common suspension issue on 3rd gen F-bodies, and it causes issues...

I would have spaced it back farther by moving the mounts.

I just bent it a littttttle bit :naughty:

I really hope it doesnt effect too much... but thank you, I will keep an eye on it and take some side to side measurements after that first drive.

Shit that looks and sounds like fun!!!!!!!!

But, Was that mailboxes going by? I wanna see a full throttle run on an open interstate, not a two lane residential with passing headlights, and your headlights staying straight. That couldn't have been full throttle, could it? I'd think it would be a little more traction limited, if you started from a stop. I couldn't tell. I'll go watch again anyway, that was fun.

GREAT JOB!

GREAT JOB!

I didnt want to take it any farther from my house than I did becasue I did not any police trouble, its too damn loud with an open DP.

The run was not from a stop... I dont want to break anyhting yet.... I just eased into it slowly from a 10-15 roll. then hit second and third.
I got some yokohama(sp?) tires on the back and they grip MUCH better than expected.
