I love all your sounds.
Big- I gotta get the car out in order to melt sand, so no way right now.

No cam news:( I figure I have a few extra days, so, thanks to many threads about pristine engine bays, I have been inspired. Clean, minimal bling. That's the plan.

I'm cleaning up this mess.

HAHAHA....paint fumes!! My build thread has started an engine bay painting epidemic, and a laquer thinner addiction. It will be worth it man when you get all that new stuff in there, and it doesn't still look 20 years old in the bay!

Tookwik- Yep you started it. Now I probably will end up painting the whole car. :naughty: Thanks for that.

xarewhyayen- Glad you checked in. When is that next Philly Supras meet, I'll try to make it. That, right now depends on Brian Crower making the cams he should be shipping on Monday. Don't get me started.

So, I did spray today. I could get a lot better if I used these products more that once or twice a year, but it came out ok. My barn is the opposite of a paint booth, clearcoat and dust don't mix. Anyway, im happy it's done.

the bay, after color, before the clear.

the tape job

and since this paint is so expensive and I suck at estimating amounts, I prepped some other stuff so as not to waste any paint.

anyway, here it is cleared,

nicees color I ever sprayed, I think so. Black Ruby Pearl FTW

Wow!! Very hot!!

I might have to paint my car that color... hmmm

If you want to win ROTY, you better find some Black Gay Blue Pearl, but I don't know if it exists yet.

I am loving this color, can't wait to see in the outside light.

ruby1.jpg

it only shows the red under direct light, otherwise it looks black.

It's baking at 85 degrees overnight.

Truly waiting on cams...

May should be doable. I may go to Don's in Boothwyn for a steak tomorrow, I gotta call my Uncle and see if he's around. I need one or two. I may have a plan for the PhillaSupras logo. I need to enlarge it a little first. Thanks.
