None of your fucking business
Kyle, look locally first for hoses, Champion toyota will give you a better price but you wont see the hoses for over a week. I'd lend you a hand but my stupid brother thought it would be a good idea to get married this weekend :3d_frown:

Hey no worries man. Family is family, besides, you helped enough by giving me that head gasket, the one thing I need most :)

The head is being decked, right?

Be meticulous about cleaning off the gasket material off the block (but careful not to scratch it!), and be even more meticulous about ensuring it stays out of the engine!

DONT FORGET AN OIL CHANGE!

Yes.
I'm taking it to a machine shop either monday or tuesday.
I'm going to be cleaning everythinggggggggg tomorrow.
Any suggestions on what to use to clean it?
Brake cleaner obviously but rag wise?

get a gasket scraper, and be careful not to make any scratches with the blade

One of those green scotch-brite pads would work well for the rest, and if you can go to a napa and get the napa brand spray gasket remover, that stuff works awesome! Definitely better than just brake cleaner if you can get the hold of it, and let it soak in

Alright.
How much does the gasket remover spray cost?

pictures from tonight:

I broke another gasket. Damn.

The head off the car, we cleaned it up a bit, I'm too tired to point out which ones are before and afters, I didn't take any immediately after taking it off though.

PURE OWNAGEEEEEEEEEE.
It's weird, cylinder's 1 and 2 are the ones that blew, and 6 a little bit.

Nice work! You're going to be so happy once you fix this. No more worrying about the damn HG. Well not as much anyway, I still worry about the headgasket and I haven't blown one yet.
I knowwwwwww.
But you're right,
a BHG is always in a supra owners worries.
