I'm not going to have the block or anything done, maybe the head, but I'm just going to slap on a new stocker so yeah.
If I had the money and a DD I'd totally do a full rebuild n shit but it ain't happening.

Well
That left bolt that goes on the left stud of the master cylinder is a BITCH.
I dropped it onto the wires, and my dad attempted to get it, had it, and dropped it into the chasis below the fuse box there to the left of the clutch.
So about to run up to my neighbors and get a magnet thing to grab it.
New thermostat is in though.

It's going to be so much more clean after I'm done

Tossing it off anyways to show off my sweet new painted valve covers :)

I had a tough time taking this one and another big one over by the throttle body/intake manifold off, and they just ended up breaking, so I'm replacing a whole bunch of hoes. I mean hoses

hahaha.
Pretty much.
That was pretty much the only thing I was disappointed in when we got this engine, other than that it looked great.

It's not too bad working outside, the hallogen light I have hanging from my hood does a good job of genorating some heat and the tarp keeps it in. Plus I'm layering up.

And nate,
I didn't crash into the garage, my girlfriend did. haha. I felt so bad for her.
what'd the storm do to your house?

How much are you paying for those?

I think I got mine for like $95 but I believe it was from a place in Florida.

Edit: Maryland
The problem is the shipping.
I need them here by saturday and i'm paying out the ass to get them here.
I went ahead with Aaron from Rabidchimp.com
151 shipped to my door by saturday.
Bout the best I think I'm going to find with such short notice.
Oh well.

This is what you get when you own a 17, almost 18 year old car.
Check out the bottom left of the hose.

Then check out the fragments of it

The next 3 pictures show the other end it broke off of. The thing was ROCK HARD. As you can sort of tell, I started sawing into to see if it would come off. It didn't of course.

To add to my problems, I think I broke the throttle body. I'm not sure where that part goes or if it's fixable, but let me know plzzzzz.

And the last problem, I cracked this gasket. Think I'd be okay to reuse it or go get another one?

Here's a little comparison to show what I got done today.

Today:

Close up on cams.
