hey i just wired mine up.
it looks great, the only thing that sucks is that visability in the day sucks. i was thinkin of maybe puttin in those visor things they give you, maybe that'll help.
so when you wire it, theres one wire that goes the the lighting switch that i hooked up to the green dimmer wire. what the hell does this do? nothing changes when i turn my lights on. i checked and there is 12v at the wire when the lights are on, but no change in the gauges...i mean its lit up already, what else is supposed to happen?

The 12v illumination wire may need a ground instead of positive. It's supposed to dim the gauge lighting a bit, like the clock and CC do when you turn on the lights. The thought is that if it's dark out less light is needed to view the gauges and that it's better than leaving them at a brightness which may be distracting.

How do you like them so far? I was about to order a few and was curious as to how they 'worked' (movements, how quickly they react, etc..)

that lead is supposed to change the color of them from white during the day to blue/red/green (depending on what gauges you got)

i was expecting the oil pressure gauge to react slower being that it is electrical, but the response is pretty good, im satisfied. i just have the sensor for the water temp laying there, i havent hooked it up into the upper radiator hose yet. the only thing that i dont like is that visability really sucks in the day..im gonna try to mount those visors they give you..but other than that, i love em!

So far, I have the electric boost and electric water temp hooked up. The little startup ceremony is pretty cool. The boost gauge reacts fast and well, the water temp is going to move slow since it moves as the engine warms up. Only thing is that I found out you can't use the water temp signal wire going to the stock gauges because it makes the readings really high. So, this week I'm installing the sensor that came with the gauge and see how that goes. I still have to hook up the A/F ratio and order the oil pressure gauge.

I have 2 pics on my build thread on the last page (if using 50 posts per page). Not the best shots, but I was buzzing when I took the pics.

Im not jumping on the bandwagon JUST because of the issue im hearing with illumination during the day. I dont think I would be happy with that at all. Especially with the top out. Other than that I would be all over these. I dont want to spend what im going to have to on other gauges

hey af1jz where did you put your water temp sensor?

Like I said a couple of posts back, I am using the water temp signal wire going to the stock gauges and it is reading way too high. So, I'm going to take out the stock sensor and see if it is threaded the same. If not, I'm just going to make a small piece that goes between the big radiator hose up top that will have a bung for the sensor. Prosport gauges have a piece already made for like $26. Near the bottom of the link.
