i just bought a water temp and oil pressure one. they want you to buy adapters and shit to make em work, but i have a way around both sensors.
attached is the oil pressure sensor. it has a 1/8 bsp to 1/8 npt adapter on it that you guys helped me find(thanks!). for the water temp, i'm rigging up some kind of adapter that'll go in the middle of the upper radiator hose.
you can see em in my sig. i can't wait to light em up!

Poodles, I had thought of that exact thing - running the green/white prosports + a set of matching green LEDs in the dash - I'd just rather have the fonts of the numbers matching, as well.

I think speedhut has pretty close to the same font as as the Prosport gauges. THe only issue is going to be the backlight, to get the look you'll have to have some other color prosport gauge I'm thinking... (speedhutt doesn't have a green/white IIRC)

Oh, you're talking that set of indiglos... ahh, I haven't seen the indiglo stuff in any sort of a green - more of a teal color. :(

It's ok, I may end up just going digital dash :D

is this a good way to wire em up?
i got 4 grounds(gauge 1, gauge 2, oil press sensor, temp sensor) together. gonna wire them to a grounded bracket under the dash.
got the two 12v IGN cabled comming from the gauges going into cigarette lighter cicuit.(is this too much to put into the cig lighter circuit? i already got one gauge goin there)
and the two "light" wires goin into the dimmer.
this a good way to set it up?

I don't know about these gauges (but I would assume its similar), but a good ground is crucial to accurate readings. VDO (for instance) recommends a min of 14ga ground to the engine block to have accurate readings. I can confirm that using a body ground with a 16ga ground did not provide a good enough ground as the readings varied with electrical loads (same occurred with some digital gauges. By playing with the grounds I was able to get as much as a 12degree change between keyOn, IgOff and keyOn,IgOn, headlight/ efan on).

Quality of ground and body resistance makes a huge difference in gauge accuracy. Good luck.

That will work fine (cig lighter).

You could always find a nice spot on the block for a ground too. would look better than having a rats nest of wires hanging around your battery (besides, that is where the senders are anyway)

I just might do like Doward and go digi dash. Really damn intrigued by the idea. Think Prosport would make the rest of the guages in digital form?

i'd think they would considering they made a tach and an af/voltmeter gauge. it would be good for business.

I'd have already ordered, but I'm still worried about the boost sensor, wanna hear someone else and see if they have an issue...
