Glad to see you made it back to the world ok. Ive spent some time behind bars and Im sure you will agree, the moment you realize you are once again in control of what you do with your time is an incredible feeling.

As I mentioned a few pages back to Laura, I would contact the Florida bar (www.flabar.org) and ask them for advice on what to do. When I heard some of what Laura said they did or didnt do and the threat of billing you MORE if you request an accounting of what the lawyer did is complete bullshit.

Lawyers, maybe more than some other professions, are required to follow very strict codes of conduct and billing practices. If nothing else it may provide some satisfaction that you at least resister a complaint with the bar.


Again, welcome back. And dont forget to give Laura a break, she deserves one.

I'm going to write Mr Polak a letter. I do not feel that I was kept reasonably informed about the status of the matter. No communication before, during, or after the arrest. No communication from 4/1/08 to 7/23/08, aside from my own initiation of contact before the arrest.

I am going to be civil about this matter, though. While I may not believe his actions were professional, I certainly want to ensure my own actions are kept professional. There is no reason at this point to involve the Florida Bar.

Thanks...I was gonna use a pic of a big penise but decided on my gaboon viper instead...everyone already knows I'm a dick so I didn't feel a need to advertise it......LOL

Unnecessary. I'm not looking to stir anything here - I just want a couple of simple answers.

I never expected any kind of miracle from the lawyer I hired. I served every single day I was ordered to by the judge from 2003.

I do not, however, believe the lack of communication was appropriate - that's the main question I have for my lawyer. I'll send out the letter this weekend, we'll see what happens :)
