I just got back from O'Reilley's with one new hood strut, just so I could get the two mounting bolts out of the package. Got em in, and the hood will cooperate tomorrow for a better full picture. Anybody need a cheap hood strut? It's brand new.

Here's a full picture with hood struts installed. I'm not sure why my flash keeps Polobai.ing my red paint. I love that color on his car, but it is not how it is on mine. The color at te front is the same as what's at the firewall and under the hood. Maybe tomorrow after work, I can take another shot with no flash. But the bay did get a little cluttered up with parts and wires today after this picture was taken.

Looks great. I've found in general pics look better if you can take them without a flash.

You may as well be speaking Japanese to me when it comes to that stuff.
I'm betting it's all good though.

Hey Scott. Next weekend at Steele, their having a car show and then a import versus domestics from 11:00 - 7:00. I'm planning on going and racing my car in the quarter mile. Vixen is going also. She'll probably take her car as well. Just thought I would let you know. I know it's a long ways from your house.
Good luck on the build.

Yeah the BNR hybrid works well for me. I thought Jay's old turbo was on Vixen's car though.

I looked up the specs and everything on that wheel. It's much larger than a 57 trim. I think I calculated it out to be bigger than a 60-1.

Garrett T04B H-trim:inducer : 2.298 exducer:2.750
so the trim comes to 68.8

It's a massive wheel.

As for the car show, a good chunk of us mkiii people should be there. If you can make the trip come on up.

I'm not 100% sure of the whole Jay/Vonda turbo swap thing, I'll let him explain. And as far as number go, I'm pretty new to all that. Jay told me it was a bad boy, and I'm hoping he is correct. I would be happy with your numbers Pat. Anything above that would be a plus. In my mind, I should be able to get to 400, but we'll see.

As for next week at Steele..........I'll have to check my schedule. I have a daughter graduating high school very soon (damn I'm old), so this month is kinda busy. If I can make it, I would love to come to that.
