1-I dont have the money to go all out on brakes ATM, when i do, im going all out

2-theirs no reason for an oil pan mod for more oil, i'll just dump more in there :p seriously though, this is a "mild" build, no reason to reinvent the wheel.

did you install your oil pump yet?

cause i thought it was suppose to go one on one cap, and another bolt on the other cap... i'll go look thru some other threads though...

good build though. crank doesnt look that smooth though... did you get it polished or no?

well if you ever look to get rid of any of your interior, pm me. I like the maroon interior with my black 89.

I just had the chance to read through your entire thread. You're doing an outstanding job without much recognition. Makes me wish I had the time and support to work on my car and learn everything. I guess I'm hoping I'll be able to afford a house with a garage someday. :-/

Nobody likes my thread but i'll update anyways...

So the gray car has a minor targa top leak, i removed it and reinstalled per sequence and still leaks a lil but nothing major so i just put duct tape over it lol.any ways i need to swap tails from the 87 cause the 88 has a crack on the left ones.also need to swap rims, even though i like sawblades the turbp rims are gonna look better if i paint them. Also how do i know what rear end the 88 has?i need to search i guess.would probably be wise if i swapped those out to.

Anyways exhaust studs=done, turbo is in :icon_bigg

Well...

I checked my valve clearances and it looks like i have alot of shimming to do...I got the special tool which is going to make it easier thank god.So for now all i have to do is put the rear main on and oil pan then clutch and tranny and wait till i pull the other engine and steal the shims off of that.I also need to replace all the vacuum/coolant hoses with new ones.I ordered my plug wires through advance auto today since pep boys took forever so i just canceled.

Yesterday I pulled the pumpkin from the turbo car so i can swap.Much easier than i thought. Also swapped rims.i thought i liked sawblades but the five spokers are much nicer looking. I also just pulled the HAC sensor, igniter, and ECU from the turbo car. That should be all the parts i need from it.

A couple updates

1st, the guy i bought the new sup from is trying to fuck me over

http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1054176#post1054176

Second, this sunday me and my buddy pulled the motor! It only took us 3 hours and we had a big ass lunch in betwwen. Also the freaking down pipe was a complte bitch as it was stuck on the manifold.Had to remove the exhaust completely from the hangers before we could ry it off.It was a complete bitch though but it was the only rough spot in the process.

My dad also managed to tear his calve muscle while pushing the sup :nono: so becareful when pushing these tanks guys.

p1054187_2.jpg

O yeah, and i think i now know why the motor woon't turn over....

p1054187_3.jpg

To the left, my new r154 shifter bushing from DM.To the right, what was left of my old shfter bushing!I do not know where the top part is (in my tranny :3d_frown:) but this caused my shifter to rattle when the car was running because there was no tension on the washer that goes on top of the spring in the shifter assembly, so it was rattling inside the shifter housing.
