The port on the side of the P/S resevoir is the return from the rack.

I will have to look at my 2J when I get home in a few days for the rest, but I think the 2 vacuum lines and the big one of the TB are for the little diaphram thingie that actuates the EGR valve, it seems you are missing that. If you need it I will send you mine, I ripped all the EGR crap off.

That makes sense, there was a bracket above it that looked like it held something like that. Guess there's no emissions on Houston :) I'll take the actuator part off your hands, let me know how much coin...

You only hear the bad...never the good...thats the way retail works

The Block-Off plates are on the shelf and ship out the same day(((unless ordered on the weekend at 11:30 at night)))

I'll order it monday and put this post to the test. You said they ship out the same day. I'll even order it tonight and see if I get a tracking number monday. If you do as you say, I'll give you the good rating you deserve.

Pm me your address and I will mail it to ya.

Houston does have emissions testing, but just not for everyone:naughty:

The two vac lines by the PS pump are for the PS idle-up. It screws into the banjo on the PS pressure line if you have a OEM type one. The 7M one is the same (as is nearly every Toyota one I've seen). If you still have a 7M pump around, it's screwed into the back of the pump.

Thanks Jon, I've got 2 7M p/s pumps as a matter of fact :) (somebody buy this crap, I need space in my garage!)

Spent most of the evening wrangling the downpipe out of my escort to plug some holes in my wonderful welding so I can take it for an inspection but I did manage to paint the valve covers:

Also ordered the rest of the gaskets etc. I need, I'm used to walking in a parts store and them having everything there. Stupid low volume motor...

BTW-anyone know a good way to weld over holes in crappy fluxcore welds?:biglaugh:

Josh: I have a pet peeve... When someone does an engine swap and doesn't clean the engine up before dropping it in it bothers me a lot.

Typically LDM engines sit outside and gets some nice barnicles on the aluminum bits, but nobody seems to care and drops it in anyway...

Clean it up while it's out and easy to do, you'll be happy you did.

Freakin UPS, my clutch was supposed to be here yesterday and it's signature required. Who's really at home at 10AM on a Monday???

Made a little more progress tonight, although I got distracted by a bottle of Ron Matusalem and Gabriel Iglesias' stand-up special:biglaugh:

Mocked the turbo and installed the sandwich adapter and 4' oil feed line:

I'm a little worried about the sandwich adapter, it looks like it's only engaging the first 1-2 threads of the oil filter bolt which concerns me...

My UPS driver is cool. He'll leave whatever I've got coming in either of my vehicles when I'm not there to sign for it. He always leaves it and when I get home I check to see if I got anything. It is a big help not having to be there to sign for it.

Good luck with yours.

I left a note to leave it with the old lady next door, she's always there keeping an eye on the neighborhood and making sure the teenagers across the street don't play their "rock music" (rap) too loud :biglaugh: Couldn't pick it up tonight because I got home around 8 and her house looked dark, but it's deelivered!!

I also just realized that I don't have a vband clamp for the DP, duh...

You watched that too? I've never laughed so hard in my life! The joke about being pulled over right after pulling out of crispy cream was great

IIRC driftmotion has V-band clamps...

I bought one off ebay last night, hopefully it'll be here by Friday. Good to know DM has them too, though.

Poodles-"does that mean I can keep my weed?" :biglaugh: The VW beetle thing was killing me too
