I didn't know it was eighty dollars either. If it is, then I probably won't pay that. I'm not paying eighty dollars to race, tear my car up, and then have to pay three hundred or more to get it home. I thought it would be like twenty dollars. It's only fifteen here to race all day.

Yup, from: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/996-turbo-gt2/151649-tx2k9-official-information-thread.html

"Cost: spectators will pay $20 to LMP on Saturday. Racers will be able to purchase a "2-day tech card" on Friday (NON-REFUNDABLE if you break on Friday night) for $80 (in addition to the $15 cost to enter on dyno day). If a racer only wants to run on Saturday, the tech cards will be the same price as last year, $45 (in addition to the $20 cost to enter)."

Hey josh, how much that driveshaft cost you? have you gotten it in? I hear solid driveshafts like that make a lot of noise.

:icon_razz You Jay Blue guys are so full of yourselves...

As my GF says, spent some time with my other girl last night (the redhead :naughty:). Got the driveshaft installed and Jon gave me a hand with the Walbro (actually he pretty much put it in lol) so I now have loud ass fuel pumps at both ends of my car :biglaugh:

The Shaftmasters driveshaft went in nice and easy (that's what she said) and completely got rid of my 45-60mph vibration I had before! Tried cranking the boost some more too, but I'm hitting fuel cut above 15psi with the T70 on the Lex/SAFC combo :( Have to figure out a way around that I guess, either that or spend some time on the street corner to pay for that AEM :1zhelp:

Still trying to track down the low rpm vibration I've got, definitely motor related and is worst between 1000 and 1500 rpms. Any ideas?

What is your fuel pressure set at? I was hitting fuel cut on the dyno and we raised my fuel pressure up about five psi and I never hit it again. I'm not saying it will work with yours, but it did wit mine.

I can't help you with the low rpm vibration, but I think Poodles could if he wanted too.

Toyota in their infinite wisdom used a two piece for a reason. It would have been far cheaper to use a one piece (half as many U-joints, no center bearing), so I think I'll stand behind the engineers on this one...

Vibration happens in neutral too so that eliminates the D-shaft.

Pic of ME and the GF :sarcasm:

That's all you're gettin:biglaugh:

Cute couple.

Yeah 45psi is high enough I guess. Mine is lower than that by at least ten pounds I think.

Got my 880cc injectors and started tearin' into her today to put 'em in. Figured out I can double up the grommets on the manifold side but I'm still lookin for an o-ring that'll work in the rail. Off to NAPA tomorrow to get some more grommets and hopefully dig through their o-ring bin...

Also pulled the plugs to swap 'em while I got all the junk off and did a comp test. Looking good, 155-160psi across all cyls, wohoo! Time for more boost :)

Bought some of Scott's remaining Supra parts today too :naughty:
