Engine is back from the machine shop! I've just been super busy with some other stuff in addition to prepping everything for assembly. Pictures to come soon!

I have a LOT of catching up to do in this thread. I've been busy, but lazy about updating this thread.

Block, head, and flywheel back from the machine shop:

Bottom end assembly:

Oil pump primed with assembly lube:

Larger bearing clearances per request (going to run thicker oil):

Pistons, rings, and rods assembled:

These snap rings are a PAIN to install. Fingers hurt for days afterwards:

Oil squirters installed with new bolts:

Pistons and rods installed in the block:

Oil pump, and crank scraper clearanced and installed:

VERY little clearance here. Made it fit with some massaging though:

All valves adjusted:

Custom bracket for Aeromotive A1000 (thanks to Gurley for the idea):

Crank bolt turned down to fit the ATI damper:

Intake manifold and fuel rail installed:

Getting the fuel system wired up:

-10 AN for the feed, -8 AN return:

The bay is painted! Not bad for my first time spraying with an HVLP gun (if I do say so myself ):
