Their cinnamon butter/rolls and onion blossoms would make an entire meal for me. :)

Never heard of smokeys dyno, but I've heard good things about slowmotion motorsports. I wouldn't mind making the drive for a good tune.

I didn't realize you have experience rebuilding R154s! I'll definitely keep you in mind when the time comes, and let me know if you do swap transmissions I might take it off your hands for you. A TH350 would be fun, especially for drag racing. Personally I think I would miss rowing my own gears though...

Thanks for the compliments. I plan on driving it more than I have in the past when I get it back together. We should meet up sometime and cruise. I've also been looking for some cars shows around the area that would be Supra "friendly".

lol I agree the onion blossoms and rolls are awsome up there.

I really have mixed feeling about it because I have messed up two r-154s The one was never opened I took it to the track with sticky tires 1st gear thrust washer went out. Then the one I rebuilt With everything marlin crawler made for these transmissions it was perfectly fine never had one issue on the street with street tires. took it to the track again thinking this for sure is not going to break. Well I was wrong. lol 2-step with sticky tires did not last. well it ended up being the 1st gear clutch engagement teeth is pressed on first gear separated and threw all my clearences off. I have it welded together now so i have yet to see if it holds up this time.

Anyways yea you have a nice supra im sure people are going to respect that and its not all riced out. Let me know whenever you get that thing up and running. my one buddy has a typhoon and my cousin has a gn and there are a couple of mustang guys we know and meet up with. I hope superfly starts up again they have a good turn out with imports.

what an awesome build man! wish I was able to DIY as much as you! :)

Thanks! This is my first time rebuilding an engine, I'm just taking it slowly, reading a LOT and taking advice from those who know more than me. :)

The block, tank, and head should be headed to the machine shop in the next couple of weeks! Gas tank is currently getting a sump with two -10 AN fittings, with an Aeromotive A1000 install in the near future :naughty:. Oil pan is getting modified to prevent the pickup from being uncovered when I take it to the track...more on that later. In the meantime, the UPS guy has been my best friend :)

Stock oil pump still has great clearances, right in the middle of the standard range. It will be getting a new relief spring and shimmed a little bit. All cleaned up:

Jonny87; SlowMotion huh? I'm not too far from them, went to a couple of their events. They're actually in Sunbury now. You get your car tuned there??

Back on topic: Didn't even realize there was an update! Where did you get the ATI pulley? SIP Racing?

Summit Racing, actually...I'm only about 20 mins from their Tallmadge store. VERY good price on it too! http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATI-918525/

Anyone know if slowmotion has experience tuning a MAFT Pro? I'll also need a custom exhaust setup and judging by the pictures on their website it looks like some of their custom work is top notch.

I haven't laid hands on my Supra for a while now and forgot if our stock crankshaft pulley is three or two ring....Is there a two/three ring option for the ATI pulley (A/C belt delete)?

Sorry for thread jack arknotts, let me know if you prefer me to have this convo elsewhere.

Stock has three pulleys, the ATI I got is a two pulley with an optional 3rd one that can be bolted on if using A/C.

I'll keep him in mind. Does he do stainless TIG? That would be better than driving down to columbus with nothing but a couple foot long section acting as a temporary downpipe :p

supra28 He didnt work on my car. My dad and I did everything ourselves to my car. The only thing I had slowmotion do is finish tuning my car with my aem ems. he had some evos there a g35 and some other cars there other than honda's so I dont think it matters to them.

arknotts Ya i wouldnt want to go that far there like that lol.. Yes he tigs everything.

Haha yes. I'll try to be done with it ASAP! I took a quick look and your build thread...very nice job! I see a lot of similarities as well. I'll read through more of it later.

The block, head, and crank were dropped off at the machine shop last week! Should hopefully be done this week.

Oil pan modified with kickouts, trap doors, and a -10 AN turbo drain. Also had a custom sump added to the stock tank with two -10 AN ports. Thanks to Wes @ Beech Performance for the great job on these!
