I got the targa top and leather seats. but I must say your car looks nicer on the outside then mine does. :( just woundering what mods besides the exhaust and downpipe did you put in? also im getting my body repainted you think the color is going to be highly expensive? I hope not, I don't have any paint buddys in my town :(

well got my bearings and started to work!!!

lastnight i got the crank in and the arp studs, and the piston and rods.

the arp mainstuds dont really give you a set of where the studs go cause they also come with 2 bolts which should go on cap## as its for the oil pump line to clear! i figured that out at the end of the night when i decided to put the oil pump in!!!

sm_photo_missing.jpg

sm_photo_missing.jpg

all lubed up got a bit crazy with the moly lube!

sm_photo_missing.jpg

all together and the oil pump installed.

sm_photo_missing.jpg

timing cover mocked up still have to replace the mainseals,

next up is putting the head on either tonight or tomorrow afterwork!

haha serious! my guy can probably get it for 100, ill ask him tomorrow but its a special order.

update:
i got to work again today got some hours on the motor ran into a few problems, like i forgot to put the studs in before the washer. mount the head and didnt have a proper sockey my short 12pt 14mm was way to short.

also mounted the fuel rail, heads studs on but not torqued down yet, cleaned the cooling hardlines, put the turbo lines, just needs a good cleaning.

gte cams are in until i find a cressida throttle links/ and bracket cause it hits the pvc line on the cover, also have to polish up the front timing cover and put in a oem timing belt for now until i can afford a greddy t-belt and titan cam gears.

heres a few pictures from earlier.

i wanted to replace that hose with the braded hose like that, what do you have to do? (that hose that feeds oil from the head to the block or vise versa)

nice! yeah im still far! :icon_evil

umm well the previous owner got it done, the stock adapters are actually removable! and also he cut the valve cover adapter when it was off and welded a AN fitting. im not sure on the size but it would be pretty simple since i now know those adapters come off!:biglaugh:

yeah looks a 100x better, no the valve cover was for test fitting the AN line, also i tried putting the NA covers and see if the throttle links would work but nope. i should have it all torqued down tomorrow and the cams and a timing belt on and possibly the oil pan.

Is the braided line -12 or -16

Also have you test fitted to see if it will clear the lower runners and stock alternator bracket and alternator in stock location or are you running a different setup?

Just curious as I have been tinkering with the hose in this area and keen to see what the possibilities are
