Okay, wow.

I had a dream last night I was on the Jerry Springer show.

Today better be the day to fire it up.

Baseline dynoed the CT/T4/T61 hybrid last night; looks like I've got a boost creep problem:3d_frown:

Maybe we'll work some magic before the meet, but it's looking like I'll be making only 320whp with this setup.

Are the dyno slots like a normal dyno day? 30 minutes/3 pulls per slot? If someone's in need of one of my slots, I can give one up. If not, I'll still take 2

Also, any word on the price? Need us to front some $$$$?

Well I got my new bearings in and bolted my subframe back last weekend. Unfortunately my oil pan gasket didn't set up because of the cold, so I couldn't start it. This weekend should be good for startup!

My oil froze..... Pat, I hope you get it finished. I'm still trying to get mine to even start. I've been having no oil pressure. I took the dent out of the pan (small one) and I'm going to let the FIPK cure and try it again tonight. I hope I don't need another oil pump, because it would suck so much.

The dyno session is first come first serve. We talked to Blake about it already, and I made him put it into his calendar :) He said it didn't matter how many showed up, he would get them all done, no appointments necessary other than the "10-15" cars we told him to expect. He said no problem.

I told him about the Stinger, and he is willing to work with it and tune it. He seemed so interested, he talked about buying one to try on his turbo'd Miata. It'd be nice to have a Stinger knowledgable tuner around these parts.

Hooters is just a couple of blocks away from Walkerdyno :) :) :)

Jay, this time we're going to hold you down and raise the boost ;) My friend Ray made it look way too easy, which is why I hate him, lol.

Darkspeed, Keith said you had some crazy stuff going on with your car, and I can't wait to see it. Boost creep? No good! What wastegate are you using?

Dirtlord, bring it on!

EDIT: I've got oil pressure!

Oh my God, I didn't realize oil could freeze. That's far worse than what I got. Seems like we are all puling it together at the last minute :D, should be a good time. Hopefully my 7m will hang with your fancy engines.

Oil pumps are not only hard to get at, but pretty expensive. I always offer Jay a hand since I'm in Birmingham on the weekends. But I stay in Jacksonville during the week. So if you need any help, Anniston is like 10 minutes away. I am always looking for someone's supra to work on since mine's so far away :D.

edit:as for price, I think Blake charged ~$85/hr with tuning included. And man can he tune.

It's $60.00 for three pulls and no tuning or like Patrick said, it's $85.00 and hour with as many pulls as you want. Hope we have a good turnout..........lol

Glad to hear that Pat and Jeff are really making some progress on their cars. I'm getting tired of hearing excuses on the poor turnouts at other supra meets I've been to. I want this one to be huge, and get bigger and better every year..............lol

I'm driving from Anniston, so yeah, about an hour for me too.

I'm ALMOST done with the car. I can't seem to get any fuel pressure now.... Maybe my FUEL is frozen now... lol

you should put antifreeze in your tank :D

I'm glad you posted that FD, because Jeff would have never thought of that and his fuel would just keep freezing and freezing. He's a good guy, but I don't think he's the smartest tool in the shed...................:biglaugh:

Unfortunately for me though, he's alot smarter than I am.

We're going to try another battery today. Seems the other one on full charge only has enough amps to make about three turns. Hopefully today

Well I put some oil in and ran the car for a bit, sounded nice. The oil pan started leaking so I tightened the bolts a little. And lo and behold some wet gasket maker came out.

That's right a week later my oil pan gasket still hasn't set and I ran the engine for like 20 minutes. I'm gonna set the heat lamp on it, but I may already be screwed if that stuff was mixing with my oil. Sigh, we will see how it goes.
