I dont know how many people will actually show up, but the ones of us that do will have a good time. I know Scott and Jeff are going to show up and Flight Doc is going to make it. I hope to have my car running and my clutch broke in by then so I can dyno it, but I may not even have it running by then. I'm doing all I can do to make sure it is, but it seems like I'm always waiting on parts..................lol

Well I started tearing apart my supra last weekend. If I have a date set then maybe I can get motivated to get it running by then. I will show with or without my car though. If its ready, I'll defintely be down to dyno. Been waiting like 6 months to put down my 400+.

We don't really know dirtlord, except that a few of us are wanting to dyno our cars. Hopefully we can come up with something fun for all of us to do. We've got to represent the south and show DaSoup a good time. He's flying along ways to come down and have a good time with some good ol boys. Let's not dissappoint him with a lame ass turnout. Tell any of your friends with supras or any cool people about it and we'll just take it from there. Hope to see you guys there on Feb. 17th...............lol

I just found out that Bama Dragway will open up Jan. 28th, so they'll be open that saturday evening if anyone wants to come racing with DaSoup and I. I know we're going, but I just don't know how many others want to come. Let me know and we'll have a great time..............lol

I'm trying my damndest to get it running. I'm not even going to play golf tomorrow so I can stay home and do some wiring on the car. I went and bought a few hoses and things tonight. I got my driveshaft in today and got my transmission fluid in it. I hope the ATF 4 is some good stuff.
I took my intercooler pipe to the welding shop and dropped it off to have my bov flange welded on today as well. Forget the last two things, this should be in my buildup thread.
Oh yeah, I was just kidding about the ATF4..................:biglaugh:

We finished wiring up the Stinger/MSD DIS-4 tonight. Just waiting on the trigger wheel, which they started working on today. If it's done tomorrow or Friday, she'll breathe to life this weekend, and I'll have time to break in the clutch. Yay. I keep thinking the 17th is this weekend.

Jay try that for motivation. It's working for me lol. How's the dash coming along? If you've had time to read this post, it must be too cold to work outside, because my butt is indoors lol.

oh snap, now that has some potential. all depends on how my tires look by then. I've just recently started pushing the car a some, doing a little bit of racin' and shit, and OMFG! I have so much more torque now! the turbo spools significantly faster since rebuild. I can just step on gas while turning through an intersection and the wheels will slide out from under me

Easy T-Town you don't want to be sliding into anyone and miss our first meet. We should have a great time. I will get the schedule from Bama dragway and make sure what time they will be open. The only problem is the dyno is like one hour away from the track. It's not a bad drive, but it's still one hour away. Some of the people that drive up from the south, that's going to be alot of driving for them. We will just have to play it by ear. I will post up a schedule and open up the floor to suggestions and discussions...........lol

Their calendar isn't updated yet, but it saids midnight madness will be open the seventeenth. It starts at 8:00 and goes until 1:00a.m.

For the dyno, put me down for two 30 min slots (one for the black car and one for the red car). The T61 broken in well :naughty:

As soon as I find a machine shop to order me some King bearings I should be set. Only one was bad, but the crank has been sized for all standard sized bearings so I'll probably change them all. Then I should be good to go.
