don't worry, i'm gonna come whether you guys like it or not, lol; just prepare yourself :D.

unfortunately, if we can't solve this boost issue, i'm only gonna need one pull on the dyno

EDIT: Doh, i'll get one of you guys to help me out, LOL. I'm sure i can find SOMEBODY familiar enough with mkiii's to help me out :D

Definitely good to see other Supra guys (and gals) in Alabama. I'm so lonely down here; no other Toyota people around :(

Guess I made some gains with my car on the dyno; picked up about 25hp with ignition tuning. Sorry about trying to fumigate everyone.

We had a great time. It's nice to put faces with names.

Scott, glad to see you made it home. Maybe this summer we can all meet somewhere around Montgomery to do some racing. Hopefully by then I will have my hp where it should be..........:evil2:

Thanks to everyone for showing up. We had way more than I expected due to the cold and chance of rain. I apologize for taking so long on the dyno, but it was Blake's fault. I had a 9:00 appointment. I got there at ten minutes till, and he didn't arrive until 9:40. I would have been done before most of you even showed up if he hadn't been so late.

I didn't even get to talk to the person in the light blue supra. You left before I got to talk to you. Hopefully you didn't leave mad. I may have even talked with you and dont' know it.

Matt, sorry Blake wouldn't let you dyno when the rest of us did. I didn't know you wanted to dyno. I asked earlier who all wanted to dyno, but I guess you were outside working on your car. The other people had asked how many more we had and Blake promised them they were next. They had to get done so they could make it to the track. Did you get to dyno after we ate? If so, how did you do?

Thanks to Jeff for coming out even though his supra wasn't running, and thanks to Ray for letting me have the highest hp'd car there...............:biglaugh:

Darkspeed, I'll be sending you a cleaning bill for mine and Vixens clothes...........;)

Glad you made it home safely Scott. I know you had a long drive ahead of you after you left the track last night. Thanks for coming up even though your car couldn't make it. That's shows alot of class for showing up just to meet us and not get to dyno or race.................lol

If yall decide to come down, we have a dyno. It's easy to get a dyno day here because it doesn't get wrapped up like Blake's.

MMP just did some work to the track; it's a little smoother now.

Vixen: I find it funny about you boost problems. I wanted to target low boost, but I got boost creep. You wanted more boost and couldn't get it up. I don't think you'll have the boost creep issues with the 50trim, and your car is too nice to not be running an EBC. Good luck in the future.

I had a great time, nice to meet everyone for sure. I brought a camera but I forgot to take pictures of anything :<. We'll need to meet up when its warmer and get some group photos and whatnot.

I love seeing suprahero's and vixen's car, they're so beautiful. Suprahero defintely made some good gains, but I don't think he's satisfied yet :D.

The mkii's were really nice too, I didn't expect that at all. Very good looking and great power for a lightass car. I didn't even know there was an actual 6m engine.

Blake helped flightdoc on the dyno and I think he gained him like 80hp by fiddling with the boost. Very impressive.

Glad that Racer and ForcedTorque came out too even though they were supraless :D. I was looking forward to seeing the 1.5JZ, but he'll get it going soon.

As for me I didn't throw a rod through the hood so I can classify myself as a professional engine builder now :D.

Yeah I wanted to go bring him my dyno sheet so he could have a copy. But then again I though that 3 more psi would bring me more than 10hp :<. I'll go ask him, honestly all I remeber him saying was that it was a hybrid.

Talk about oddities, I think I know why I have the crankcase vent issues. Did the compression check today: 180's-190's at all cylinders except #6.

I'm rocking 60, and I'm guessing it's a ring. Put oil in #6 and checked it again: 120 first test, then 90

So if I'm making 350whp with 5.5 cylinders, a rebuild should make the car a bit more fun. And it should idle better too (I knew it was a bit funky lately)

I meant to ask about that, your PCV setup seemed odd to me. Did it work fine just vented to atmosphere before? I've always needed to put vaccum on mine or it would start making my oil pan and or valve cover gaskets leak. Good to know there was a reason for all that smoke, sucks to rebuild though.

The vacuum pump I had on the right forward side (behind the right headlight) was for pcv evac. Even with that running, the engine was blowing out oil. It pulls more vacuum than the turbo inlet ever could.

I've ran to atmosphere on the dyno a week before with little vapor. Somewhere between there and Blake's I ate a ring or cracked a piston.

Who knows, I may swap the 2jz in there for shiz and gizzles (I already have the W58 parts and SS Autochrome T4 mani for it).

I forgot to ask, was anyone planning to go to TX2K7? Now that my car seems reliable I may go. I figure Jay will probably go, but anyone else know yet?

Good to meet some of you. THe ones who actually talked to me and didn't see me as an outkast..... ALso who raced the gto later on?
I didn't view you as an outkast. I was glad to meet you, but was somewhat quiet amongst people that I didn't know. I tried to not let my tuning ignorance get noticed more than it had to. So, I chose to listen as much as possible, and try to learn. I really liked your car! And, I was glad you and it were there.
