Well, Ryan should be there by now........or at least soon. Ryan, please post as often as possible, so we can keep tabs on your safety. I don't want to come see the dungeon, and be trampling over your head unknowingly.

Ryan ans I will be there at 9:00 a.m. dynoing mine. I'll let him get on here in a minute, but I've got to find the keys to the dungeon. I"ve got him locked up and just took him his dinner a while ago. If the chloroform wears off in a minute I'll let him post on here...............:biglaugh:

Do not let the shape or paintjob on your supra keep you from coming. We want everyone to show up even though it's going to be cold. Let's try to make this a great turnout. If Ryan can fly for nine hours, surely we can all drive a couple of hours. I know it's going to be a little further for Scott, but you get the idea...............lol

If anyone has any questions, you can call me at 205-243-0622.........Jay

9AM so early :< . If its warm enough tomorrow the car may get a wash, but thats looking unlikely. Just make sure whoever posts pics of the meet is good in photoshop. That way we can make the cars look pretty and shiny :D.

What are you working on tomorrow? I have an off day and may find myself bored.

Why won't it crank? Is it electrical? You had it started before, so I don't get it. Please elaborate. Have you checked your hydrosylator and your flux capacitor?

Pat, we'll probably be around all day so just give me a call and ride on over........lol

Scott?

Hydrosylator isn't avalable on the 1.5JZ.

However, I did run two flux capacitors in parallel, and woke my neighbors up.

It runs, and uh, it's loud. Tomorrow I'll tune it best I can until Saturday. See you there.

I am taking my wife out for a late Valentines dinner tonight, so I figured last night would be the only time to wash the Supra. I washed the whole car and decided to go back over the top when I realized that the water had frozen on the roof. I guess you could say it's clean; you can see where the soap suds melted.

That's pretty hardcore Keith.

I thought about cleaning the trash out of my car, but then realized it's about 40 degrees cooler than what I consider decent weather. Don't look too hard at the red Mkii, you may turn to stone. Hmmm, Medusa might be a good name for her

Well guys, the large core 272 cams are just too large :(

I spit, yet another shim (different one), and took a HUGE chunk out of the head. I don't think it's the shims, I think it's the cam.

Intake side only. I think there is a flaw with the 1J 272 large cores, I noticed it before, but didn't think anything of it. I think this is part of the reason ZaZZn, while testing the cams spit one also. He didn't shim it for the large cores, but I still think it's not lining up right. It sits approximately 3mm closer to the timing cover. The spit shim this time was set to .007. I wrote it down when I reshimmed them, the second time. I think with the cam sitting more forward, it's not hitting the shims flush center, and causing the spitting. I don't know of anyone else running the large cores successfully, but I'll put out a warning in the thread on SF.

I've had no issues with the exhaust cam, it lines up right, and the tolerances are still the same, .009-.010. It's just the intake. I have pics of the carnage, but my broken heart won't let me post them.

I'm also putting the stock 380cc injectors in. I just want it running for now, as I leave for Iraq next month.

Ultimately, my pursuit for 500whp has to wait until next year, or the year after that, or the year after that, until I get back home.

I still plan to make it to the dyno, in the motherf*cking supra :)

Doing something different almost always never works out right the first time. My crazy-a$$ smog pump PCV system didn't perform like I thought it would, but it will.

When in the AOR, you'll have plenty of time to draw out your plans and test-bench them over and over in your tent. I spent hours and hours trying to figure the best wiring for the MS system, then put it all together when I got back home.

Any set dyno schedule? First come, first serve? Will Blake have enough Coronas for everyone?

I'll need someone to drive my car on the dyno (if Blake doesn't). I'll be watching the live datalog and tuning, plus I suck at working the dyno.

See yall foos tomorrow morning; I'm going to a partay tonight.

Darkspeed, Blake will do all the driving. You just have to handle the Coronas.........:biglaugh:

Jeff, I hate to hear that about your car. I know you do. If I can't get mine to work out then I may be putting my stock cams back in as well, but I don't think I can handle the stock injectors. I may end up getting some 440's though. Hopefully tomorrow, I'll end up with a better tune than what I have right now................:x:

Flight Doc.........don't worry about your car. This is more of a meet and greet than a show and shine............lol

Keith, that was pretty smart of you to get those brownie points so you can stay out all day tomorrow...............:biglaugh:

Patrick.............don't be a puss................:evil2:
