Lol IJ.

On a down side Sean I think you jinxed (sp?) me when we were talking about leaks at the shop last Saturday. I noticed I had a small oil leak last night when I was playing musical cars in the garage last night. So like IJ has always said "the supra is on jack stands 9 months of the year" I will put her back up in the air and see if I can find out what the hell is leaking now.

wat electromice are you using? stock computer?

Right now it is still the OEM TCCS/ ECU, at stock boost level. Need to break in the engine first then comes the fuel, EMS, turbo, and tune.

nice bro pretty much everything you've dun to ur supra even down to the led bulbs, i have or will do to mines, including the double din radio.

So how do you have your idle speed control valve setup? Is it routed back to the intake or do you have the filter on it?
If so how do you control your idle, I'm asking because i completely bypass my iscv do to some unsolvable idle issues http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89423

i have an 87 throttle body with the idle screw and just backed it allow the car to idle since i bypass the iscv but of course cold start up when the computer is dumping all of that fuel it idles horrible until when its warm and the best smooth idle i can get is around 900 ish

Just curious to how ur car idles.

There is only so many spots oil could be comeing from maybe a turbo line?

926, I have my IAC routed back into the intake. I was having a brain fart and had the little red filter on it at first then, removed it since it needs metered air, lol.

My idle is set pretty high right now 1200-1400), because when I start it up when it is 20 degrees F. or less outside it can barley idle (500 rpms). But once the engine is warm I can back out the idle screw on the Q45 and idle as low as 750, but then once the engine cools down the cold idle sucks again, so I am just leaving it high right now. It is just another thing that needs tweeking.

Sean we could only be so lucky if it would be the oil return for the turbo. I will check it out this afternoon.

yup the same exact issue i have with my idle, So far i just leave it where its good when it warm, and just drive the car when its cold instead of letting it idle to warm it up faster so i don't have to worry about it stalling out on me etc,

Hell yeah what are you up to tomorrow? Emillio and I are doing the finishing touches on Dans car if you would like to join us. Drive the supra up and I don't think it would much of an issue to toss it on the lift and find the oil leak really fast.

926, as for the A/F's I dont know as I have not yet installed a wideband. So what ever the TCCS is getting it is happy since the CEL isn't throwing a code 25 or 26 (witch would be lean or rich respectivley). Rememeber Im still OEM electronics with no modifiers.

Funky, I would be down for coming over. Give me a call when your heading over, and I can swing by (hope the snow is of the roads by tomorrrow) Having it on the lift would be alot easier to spot a oil leak then on my back, lol. Then I could also dig threw the pile-o-parts for that heater valve :)

We are starting pretty early. At 8 am we should be heading over there and rocking out at about 9.

I hope you guys are up!!! I have my list of stuff and will be there in a hour or so.

With the air temp of -3 F. out side this morning I will find out if the supra likes super cold air or not. I know the intercooler will.

Ya, it was cold this past weekend. Now there talking rain this up coming thursday. But the supra ran pretty well, over all. I checked for the oil leak and really couldn't tell but I intalled new hose clamps on the oil cooler return fitting for safe keeping. Im not sure if it was just oil dripping off the block and crossmember from when the cam covers were loose, maybe from priming the engine w/o the turbo and oil lines on or from changing the oil filter. But I will keep a eye on it.

When I was leaving Sean uncle's house on Saturday night, I hit a HUGE pot hole on a side street and crack up my new front lip pretty good  . Sorry I don't have a pic yet but maybe tonight I will get one. For now I think a little more black primer on it so it dosen't stick out like a sore thumb, and I will try and source a new lip. Maybe even find one made of plastic instead of fiberglass so it dosen't break so easily.

To add to the list of things to check out is why when I try and use the power mirrors it pops the fuse? I have tryed 3 differnt switches and same thing so something some where is messed up with the wiring. Also how much vacuum is needed up pull up the heater valve on the firewall? I don't know if I don't have enoght or what up but the vacuum going to it dosent pull it up even when I bypass the VSV for it. So it is just zip ties up for now so I have heat inside.

Damn MN winter wrecking our roads. It really doesn't take much vacuum to pull the heater valve. Just about anything below atmospheric... i will take a look at the repair manual at work tomorrow and let you know and let you know what the spec is for sure.
