Updated pic on post 10. Installed some suede on the head liner, targa top, sunvisors, ect. 3M Super 77 adhesive works great. The Loctite spray adhesive I first bought sucks! It isn't as strong and soaks threw big time.

Installed the suede headliner parts, and the rear suede parts today. I still need to put the suede on the front door leather inserts, but I an going to wait until next weekend, to remove the door panels. I think they turned out SWEET. They are a nice custom / indivdual parts that makes this supra it's own apart from sea of all other sup's.

Also I noticed the the previous owner had this entire car dynamated! At first I thought it was just the hatch area but once I was removing the rear panels and roof trim it is every where! Since I do not care about the weight of the supra it is a very welcomed & nice surprise. He must have planned to have some serious sound in this car, since all the mids and tweeters are also Kenwood & blaupunkt (in the pic) in the rear small ones(3 1/2") pointing forward.

Micro setting, ummm........ who knows what happened, maybe the flash was to much for the camera, lol.

Suede pics are on post 10.

I haven't looked to hard for one yet. Mine is still pretty good, it is just the knock sensor (famous code 52) error. And I have been lazy to fix or look into it. But it is on my list of of things that would be nice to replace. New harness, new, soft wires, yum.

that is good... i talked to Jack he said that funkymonkey was looking for one and he talked to GREG... yelling at me for saying him.

I spent a few hours on mine trying to make it much more functional and clean looking

I think Sean (funkymonkey) was more just more curious if one still could be bought for a 87. Yes we talked with Greg last Friday about them when we stoped by to check out the FFIM. He really doesn’t need one since he is full stand alone, and has already made his own custom harness. But again I'm sure he has the same idea as me, some day it would be nice to have new OEM harness.

Sorry Need to vent.

I am sick of mail order places fucking up. First M.C. with the shifter bushings. Almost 3+weeks to ship and receive( and still not received) 2 stupid, simple bushings!! Put them in a padded envelope, put $1.50 worth of stamps on it and put it in the mail box. WTF is it that hard?? Should take maybe 7 days max.
I called them and asked them, very nicely, how long their standard shipping time is, and they said 1-2 weeks :aigo: . I told them it has been almost 3 weeks. They replyed we dont know what is going on, and there was a long pause........................ I then said, thank you for answering my call and I will be surprised if they show up some day. I will just reorder them from toyota since they only take 2-3 days to get my parts. He then said have a nice day. I lol'ed.

Second my pet is sick so I ordered some meds for his cold from 1800petmeds. I Pd. the xtra shipping for priority shipping, so he can get better quicker (poor guy looks miserable, and he is sneezing all the time) . I then receive a email saying it was sent out standard first class mail (7days) I replyed to the email asking why it was sent first calss, and they said sorry, there was a mix up, and there is nothing they can do now except reimburse me the shipping cost since it is already sent out. I guess that is fine but I would rather have it right the first time.

Sorry for my rant, just had to vent. I will just go to Toyota to order my bushings since they never take longer that 3 days to get me my parts and just re-sell the M.C's (if they show up). Toyota you ROCK!!!

This weekend I guess i can look into my knock sensor wiring and knock sensor it self. Then replace the PITA tail light gaskets since I have the new ones sitting here.

Parts update. Put pic. on post 9

Well the M.C. shift bushing finally showed up after almost 3 weeks:aigo:. Picked up some new tail light gaskets from toyota, I hope these will solve the water in the spair tire well area problem. They are going to be a PITA to install, because when I put the JDM tails on it sucked removing the rear trim. Also picked up a very condition 89 TEWD of eBay.

In fact the guy pd. me $1.50 to take the TEWD off his hands:icon_bigg. He under estimated the shipping big time. I won the auction for $3(only bidder) and shipping was $3. The total on shipping alone to me was $7.50, lol. never the less a great deal on TEWD. I already have a online one printed out, but I can add this to the collection.

Also ordered new grey, leather, seat recover set. Two local supra's ordered and installed them and they fit awesome, so I ordered some also. Only difference is I ordered the heat front seats along with the MKIII "SUPRA" on the top center back embroidered into the front seats. Thank you LilMiss for posting a pic of her seats ;)

And since it is cold out side again I'm being lazy so maybe tomorrow I will get out to the garage to work on her again.

To do list:
Rewire fog lights, Knock sensor wiring and sensor testing, tail light gaskets, remove door panels for suede, shift bushings, and since the shifter is out switch over to redline MT-90 oil in the tranny. Install new leather on seats once they arrive.

I thought of doing that but I didn't want to risk it, and know the original ones lasted 15+ years and this is (in my eyes) the correct way of do it. Plus I don't want a Home Depot car. But thank you for the idea, I always welcome them
