thanks.

I found out that I have a leak in my lower water neck. It wont be to bad to fix. I might be able to get the couplers from a friend this weekend. If everything goes to plan I might be able to start driving her every day starting next week.

Today, I put back together the interior. It is starting to feel my baby again. LOL. Ill post some pictures tomorrow as I work on it. Stay tuned

Well the car is up and running on the streets for now. I dont have a DP yet but i want to fab one up soon. She drives fine, just one question about breaking in a clutch. Is it better to downshift each gear or just pop the clutch and coast? Whats better for breaking in? Anything else I should know?

Congrats on getting it running... Mine isnt yet " I should have just stuck with the twins" But no I had to be retarded.....

Where in Jersey are you from ?? we will have to meet up sometime if we have any money left to do so lol

but big single>twins. Im from Edison, its about north central NJ. Im down to meet up, just need to save up some money :biglaugh:

On another note, right now I couldnt hook up my power steering cooler and I needed power steering.(live in a place where slow speed turns are very often) so I hooked it up without a cooler. I have one problem, at idle/rest, it seems to cut out and in. Like ill start turning left and it has power steering and then all of a sudden it cuts out and back in. If I rev it the problem will go away. Any ideas on what it is?

Well I think I should be keeping the RPMS lower, with an open DP and this cold weather I think the turbos spool quickly, maybe to quick. I thought I felt the clutch slip a bit at 3k(in 4th) I let off of it asap. Just wondering if It did any damage to the clutch. It has around 100 miles on it already

Not sure what it could be maybee the rack has a bubble in it? I took off my cooler all together and plan to run without one. Does it cut out when you are in a turn?

It will cut out usually at idle from a stop, or very low speed.

well it was the first nice night since I broke in my clutch so I decided to do a quick pull on the highway to see how she pulls. Anyway, im in third and im pulling up untill 5k or so then i hear a loud POP, almost like a IC pipe popped off. Instead, the car died and I coasted the the side of the road. The car would not start again, it cranks and cranks and cranks but no start. With the throttle open, the car was able to chug a couple of times but thats the best it did. Anyone have any ideas on what it can be? Ill be pulling codes tomorrow. Any ideas on where to start looking?

Edit, I found this

Code 78 Fuel pump control signal fault

is that because I have my pump on a switch? and could this cause my car to die and not start?

Well timing is in check, pulled my plugs and they were a little dark for 500 miles. I changed out the ECU and did a ground check. No luck.

Something that struck my mind, The crank trigger wheel(sprocket looking thing) came off when the engine was out on the stand, but I heated it up and pressed it back on there. Maybe the crank trigger was not on straight enough and bringing it the upper RPM's brought it to the max and caused it to fall off again? just a though. Ill have pics/videos up soon
